पीएम श्री छात्र राजकीय वरिष्ठ माध्यमिक विद्यालय पांवटा साहिब में पृथ्वी दिवस बड़े उत्साह और जागरूकता के साथ मनाया गया। इस अवसर पर विद्यालय में विभिन्न प्रतियोगिताओं का आयोजन किया गया, जिनमें नारा लेखन, पेंटिंग और भाषण प्रतियोगिता प्रमुख रूप से शामिल रहीं। कार्यक्रम में विद्यालय के लगभग 50 विद्यार्थियों ने बढ़-चढ़कर भाग लिया और पर्यावरण संरक्षण के प्रति अपनी जागरूकता और रचनात्मकता का प्रदर्शन किया। प्रतियोगिताओं के मूल्यांकन के लिए निर्णायक मंडल में सुमति शर्मा, कामिनी तोमर और निर्मल सिंह ने महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई। लोटस इको क्लब की प्रभारी वनिता चौहान ने कार्यक्रम का संचालन करते हुए विद्यार्थियों को पृथ्वी दिवस के महत्व के बारे में विस्तार से जानकारी दी। वहीं, हिंदी प्रवक्ता संतोष तोमर ने छात्रों को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि पृथ्वी को बचाने के लिए हर व्यक्ति को अपना योगदान देना चाहिए और प्रदूषण से बचाव के लिए जागरूक रहना जरूरी है। अंत में विद्यालय के प्रधानाचार्य डॉ. प्रेमपाल ठाकुर ने विद्यार्थियों को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि पृथ्वी एकमात्र ऐसा ग्रह है जहां जीवन संभव है, इसलिए इसे स्वच्छ और सुरक्षित रखना हम सभी की जिम्मेदारी है। इस अवसर पर विद्यालय का समस्त स्टाफ और विद्यार्थी उपस्थित रहे।

Earth Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and a strong sense of awareness at the PM-SHRI Government Senior Secondary School in Paonta Sahib. To mark this occasion, the school organized various competitions, most notably including slogan writing, painting, and speech contests. Approximately 50 students from the school participated actively in the program, showcasing their awareness regarding environmental conservation as well as their creativity. Sumati Sharma, Kamini Tomar, and Nirmal Singh played a pivotal role as members of the jury responsible for evaluating the competitions. Vanita Chauhan, the In-charge of the Lotus Eco Club, anchored the event and provided the students with detailed insights into the significance of Earth Day. Meanwhile, Hindi Lecturer Santosh Tomar addressed the students, emphasizing that every individual must contribute their share to save the Earth and that remaining vigilant against pollution is essential. Concluding the event, the school Principal, Dr. Prempal Thakur, addressed the students, stating that the Earth is the only planet where life is possible; therefore, it is the collective responsibility of us all to keep it clean and safe. The entire school staff and student body were present on this occasion.
