हिमाचल प्रदेश की सबसे बड़ी प्राकृतिक और पवित्र श्री रेणुकाजी झील में डूबे 21 वर्षीय युवक सुमित का शव दो दिनों के कड़े सर्च ऑपरेशन के बाद आखिरकार बरामद कर लिया गया है। इस दर्दनाक हादसे के बाद मृतक के परिवार सहित पूरे इलाके में मातम पसरा हुआ है। मिली जानकारी के मुताबिक, ददाहू क्षेत्र का रहने वाला सुमित झील के किनारे नहाने के लिए गया था। जब वह काफी देर तक घर नहीं लौटा, तो परिजनों ने उसकी तलाश शुरू की। झील के किनारे सुमित के कपड़े और जूते मिलने के बाद उसके पानी में डूबने की आशंका गहरा गई। सूचना मिलते ही रेणुका जी थाना पुलिस की टीम तुरंत मौके पर पहुंची और स्थानीय ग्रामीणों की मदद से रेस्क्यू ऑपरेशन शुरू किया। झील की अत्यधिक गहराई और कठिन परिस्थितियों के कारण शुरुआत में बचाव दल को भारी दिक्कतों का सामना करना पड़ा। स्थानीय स्तर पर सफलता न मिलने पर प्रशासन ने विशेष अभियान के तहत प्रशिक्षित गोताखोरों की मदद ली। पुलिस, प्रशासन और गोताखोरों की संयुक्त टीमों ने दो दिनों तक झील के चप्पे-चप्पे को खंगाला, जिसके बाद सुमित का शव पानी से बाहर निकाला जा सका।अतिरिक्त पुलिस अधीक्षक (ASP) योगेश रोल्टा ने मामले की पुष्टि करते हुए बताया कि झील में लापता हुए युवक की तलाश के लिए रेस्क्यू टीमें लगातार जुटी हुई थीं। कड़ी मशक्कत के बाद शव को बरामद कर लिया गया है। पुलिस ने शव को कब्जे में लेकर पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भिजवा दिया है और मामले में नियमानुसार कानूनी कार्रवाई की जा रही है।”

The body of 21-year-old Sumit, who drowned in Himachal Pradesh’s largest natural and sacred lake, Shri Renukaji, has finally been recovered after an intensive two-day search operation. A pall of gloom has descended upon the entire area, including the deceased’s family, following this tragic incident. According to reports, Sumit, a resident of the Dadahu area, had gone to the lake to bathe. When he did not return home for a long time, his family began searching for him. Fears that he had drowned grew after his clothes and shoes were found on the lake’s bank. Upon receiving the information, a police team from the Renukaji station immediately arrived at the scene and launched a rescue operation with the help of local villagers. The rescue team initially faced significant challenges due to the lake’s extreme depth and difficult conditions. When local efforts did not yield success, the administration enlisted the help of trained divers for a special operation. Joint teams comprising police, administration personnel, and divers scoured every inch of the lake over two days before Sumit’s body could be retrieved from the water. Confirming the incident, Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Yogesh Rolta stated that rescue teams had been continuously engaged in the search for the missing youth. The body was recovered after strenuous effort. The police have taken possession of the body, sent it for a post-mortem examination, and are initiating legal proceedings in accordance with the law.
