पंचायत राज संस्थाओं के चुनाव परिणाम घोषित होने के बाद सोशल मीडिया पर की गई एक टिप्पणी को लेकर आंजभोज क्षेत्र में विवाद खड़ा हो गया है। क्षेत्र के लोगों ने एक महिला के खिलाफ पुलिस थाना पांवटा साहिब में शिकायत देकर उचित कार्रवाई की मांग की है। शिकायतकर्ताओं का आरोप है कि फेसबुक पर की गई एक पोस्ट में पूरे आंजभोज क्षेत्र की जनता के प्रति आपत्तिजनक शब्दों का प्रयोग किया गया, जिससे क्षेत्रवासियों की भावनाएं आहत हुई हैं। थाना प्रभारी पांवटा साहिब को सौंपे गए शिकायत पत्र में बताया गया है कि हाल ही में पंचायत राज संस्थाओं के चुनाव संपन्न हुए थे और चुनाव परिणाम 1 जून 2026 को घोषित किए गए थे। शिकायत के अनुसार, चुनाव परिणाम आने के बाद पिंकी रमोल नामक फेसबुक अकाउंट से एक पोस्ट साझा की गई, जिसमें लिखा गया कि, “आंजभोज बिक गया जिला परिषद चुनावों में और कुछ मूर्ख उस सौदे पर भी गर्व कर रहे हैं। लोकतंत्र बिके तो शर्म होनी चाहिए।” क्षेत्र के लोगों का कहना है कि उक्त टिप्पणी से पूरे आंजभोज क्षेत्र की जनता का अपमान हुआ है। उन्होंने पुलिस प्रशासन से मामले की जांच कर संबंधित व्यक्ति के खिलाफ नियमानुसार कार्रवाई करने की मांग की है। पुलिस ने शिकायत प्राप्त होने की पुष्टि करते हुए मामले की जांच शुरू कर दी है।

The complainants allege that a post shared on Facebook utilized offensive language directed at the entire populace of the AnjBhoj region, thereby hurting the sentiments of the local residents. The written complaint, submitted to the Station In-charge of Paonta Sahib, notes that the elections for the Panchayat Raj Institutions were recently concluded, and the results were declared on June 1, 2026. According to the complaint, shortly after the election results were announced, a post was shared from a Facebook account named ‘Pinky Ramol,’ stating: “AnjBhoj has sold out in the District Council elections, and some fools are even taking pride in that deal. One should feel ashamed when democracy is sold.” Residents of the region assert that this specific comment has insulted the entire population of the AnjBhoj area. They have urged the police administration to investigate the matter and take action against the concerned individual in accordance with the law. The police have confirmed receipt of the complaint and have initiated an investigation into the matter.
