शहर की सुंदरता को दाग लगाने वाले अवैध पोस्टरों और विज्ञापनों के खिलाफ नगर परिषद ने अब कड़ा रुख अख्तियार कर लिया है। शहर में सार्वजनिक स्थानों पर बिना अनुमति के लगाए गए विज्ञापनों को हटाने के लिए नगर परिषद ने तीन दिनों का अल्टीमेटम जारी किया है। कार्यकारी अधिकारी संजय कुमार ने स्पष्ट किया है कि यदि निर्धारित समय के भीतर इन अवैध पोस्टरों को संबंधित व्यक्तियों या संस्थाओं द्वारा नहीं हटाया गया, तो उनके खिलाफ नियमानुसार सख्त कानूनी कार्रवाई अमल में लाई जाएगी। नगर परिषद के अनुसार, शहर में जगह-जगह दीवारों और सार्वजनिक संपत्तियों पर पोस्टर चस्पा होने से सुंदरता प्रभावित हो रही है। इस समस्या के समाधान के लिए अब विज्ञापन लगाने की प्रक्रिया को पूरी तरह व्यवस्थित और डिजिटल कर दिया गया है। जो भी लोग या संस्थान अपने विज्ञापन प्रदर्शित करना चाहते हैं, उन्हें अब नगर परिषद द्वारा चिन्हित साइटों के लिए ऑनलाइन आवेदन करना होगा। विभाग से औपचारिक अनुमति मिलने के बाद ही निर्धारित स्थानों पर विज्ञापन लगाए जा सकेंगे।नगर परिषद ने यह भी साफ किया है कि अब भविष्य में शहर के किसी भी अनधिकृत स्थान पर विज्ञापन लगाने की अनुमति नहीं दी जाएगी। विज्ञापन के लिए केवल वही स्थल मान्य होंगे जिन्हें परिषद ने विशेष रूप से चिन्हित किया है। इस कदम का उद्देश्य न केवल शहर को स्वच्छ और सुंदर बनाना है, बल्कि अवैध विज्ञापन गतिविधियों पर अंकुश लगाकर राजस्व को भी व्यवस्थित करना है। परिषद ने सभी शहरवासियों से सहयोग की अपील की है ताकि नाहन की सुंदरता को बरकरार रखा जा सके।

The Municipal Council has now adopted a strict stance against illegal posters and advertisements that mar the beauty of the city. The Council has issued a three-day ultimatum for the removal of advertisements placed in public spaces across the city without prior permission. Executive Officer Sanjay Kumar has clarified that if these illegal posters are not removed by the concerned individuals or organizations within the stipulated timeframe, strict legal action will be initiated against them in accordance with the law. According to the Municipal Council, the city’s aesthetic appeal is being compromised by posters pasted on walls and public properties at various locations. To address this issue, the process for placing advertisements has now been completely streamlined and digitized. Individuals or institutions wishing to display their advertisements must now apply online for sites specifically designated by the Municipal Council. Advertisements may be placed at the designated locations only after formal permission has been obtained from the department. The Municipal Council has also made it clear that, henceforth, permission will not be granted to place advertisements at any unauthorized location within the city. Only those sites specifically identified and designated by the Council will be deemed valid for advertising purposes. The objective of this initiative is not only to make the city clean and beautiful but also to streamline revenue generation by curbing illegal advertising activities. The Council has appealed to all city residents for their cooperation to ensure that the beauty of Nahan is preserved.
