जिला सिरमौर पुलिस की पीओ सेल नाहन को एक बड़ी सफलता हाथ लगी है। वर्ष 2018 से फरार चल रहे एक उद्घोषित अपराधी को पुलिस ने शिमला जिले के ठियोग क्षेत्र से गिरफ्तार कर लिया है।आरोपी के खिलाफ थाना राजगढ़ में सेंधमारी और चोरी का मामला दर्ज था। पुलिस से मिली जानकारी के अनुसार, गिरफ्तार आरोपी की पहचान जय प्रकाश पुत्र सुंदर सिंह निवासी गांव धैला दयोठी, डाकघर शरगांव, तहसील राजगढ़, जिला सिरमौर के रूप में हुई है। आरोपी थाना राजगढ़ में दर्ज अभियोग संख्या 42/18 दिनांक 12 अगस्त 2018 में धारा 457 और 380 आईपीसी के तहत वांछित था। मामला दर्ज होने के बाद से आरोपी लगातार फरार चल रहा था, जिसके चलते अदालत ने उसे उद्घोषित अपराधी घोषित कर दिया था। पीओ सेल नाहन की टीम लंबे समय से आरोपी की तलाश में जुटी हुई थी। इसी दौरान गुप्त सूचना के आधार पर पुलिस टीम ने ठियोग में दबिश देकर आरोपी को गिरफ्तार कर लिया। पुलिस ने बताया कि गिरफ्तार आरोपी को आगामी कार्रवाई के लिए माननीय न्यायालय में पेश किया जा रहा है। वहीं सिरमौर पुलिस द्वारा फरार अपराधियों के खिलाफ अभियान लगातार जारी है।

The police have arrested a proclaimed offender—who had been absconding since 2018—from the Theog area of ​​Shimla district. A case of burglary and theft had been registered against the accused at the Rajgarh Police Station. According to information provided by the police, the arrested accused has been identified as Jai Prakash, son of Sundar Singh, a resident of Village Dhaila Dayothi, Post Office Shargaon, Tehsil Rajgarh, District Sirmour. The accused was wanted under Sections 457 and 380 of the IPC in connection with FIR No. 42/18, registered at the Rajgarh Police Station on August 12, 2018. Since the registration of the case, the accused had remained continuously at large, leading the court to declare him a proclaimed offender. The team from the PO Cell, Nahan, had been actively searching for the accused for a considerable period. Acting on a tip-off, the police team conducted a raid in Theog and successfully apprehended the accused. The police stated that the arrested accused is being produced before the Honorable Court for further legal proceedings. Meanwhile, the Sirmour Police continue to carry out their ongoing campaign against absconding criminals.
