एनएच-707 पांवटा साहिब-शिलाई मार्ग पर शुक्रवार को बड़वास के समीप एक स्विफ्ट कार और पत्थरों से लदे ट्रक के बीच आमने-सामने की जोरदार भिड़ंत हो गई। हादसे में कार सवार दो व्यक्ति घायल हो गए, जिन्हें स्थानीय लोगों की सहायता से उपचार के लिए अस्पताल पहुंचाया गया। प्राप्त जानकारी के अनुसार स्विफ्ट कार में सवार दो लोग पांवटा साहिब से कफोटा की ओर जा रहे थे। जैसे ही उनकी कार बड़वास के पास पहुंची, सामने से आ रहे पत्थरों से भरे ट्रक से उसकी टक्कर हो गई। टक्कर इतनी तेज थी कि कार को काफी नुकसान पहुंचा और उसमें सवार दोनों व्यक्ति घायल हो गए। हादसे के तुरंत बाद आसपास के लोग मौके पर पहुंचे और राहत कार्य शुरू किया। घायलों को पहले सतौन तक पहुंचाया गया, जहां प्राथमिक सहायता उपलब्ध कराई गई। इसके बाद 108 एम्बुलेंस की मदद से दोनों घायलों को सिविल अस्पताल पांवटा साहिब लाया गया, जहां उनका उपचार चल रहा है। प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों के अनुसार दुर्घटना के बाद कुछ समय के लिए मार्ग पर यातायात भी प्रभावित रहा। स्थानीय लोगों ने घटना की सूचना पुलिस को दे दी है। पुलिस मामले की जांच में जुट गई है तथा दुर्घटना के कारणों का पता लगाया जा रहा है। फिलहाल घायलों की पहचान और उनकी स्थिति के संबंध में विस्तृत जानकारी सामने नहीं आई है। पुलिस द्वारा आवश्यक कानूनी कार्रवाई अमल में लाई जा रही है।

A severe head-on collision occurred on Friday between a Swift car and a truck loaded with stones near Badwas on the NH-707 Paonta Sahib-Shillai highway. Two occupants of the car were injured in the accident and were taken to the hospital for treatment with the help of locals. According to reports, the two individuals in the Swift car were traveling from Paonta Sahib towards Kafota. As their car reached near Badwas, it collided with the oncoming truck laden with stones. The impact was so severe that the car sustained significant damage, and both occupants were injured. Immediately after the accident, locals rushed to the scene and initiated relief efforts. The injured were first taken to Sataun, where they received first aid. Subsequently, both were transported to the Civil Hospital in Paonta Sahib via a 108 ambulance, where they are currently undergoing treatment. Eyewitnesses reported that traffic on the route was disrupted for some time following the accident. Locals have informed the police about the incident. The police have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the accident. Detailed information regarding the identities and current condition of the injured has not yet been released. Necessary legal proceedings are being carried out by the police.
