पांवटा साहिब के अंतर्गत ग्राम पंचायत फूलपुर में पोल्ट्री व्यवसाय से जुड़े किसान एवं आईबीएस कंपनी से संबद्ध पोल्ट्री फार्म संचालक गुरुचरण सिंह को भारी आर्थिक नुकसान उठाना पड़ा है। गुरुचरण सिंह के अनुसार पिछले 24 घंटे के भीतर उनके फार्म में करीब 400 से 500 तैयार जीव खत्म हो गए, जिससे लाखों रुपये के नुकसान की आशंका जताई जा रही है। बताया जा रहा है कि क्षेत्र में लगातार बढ़ रहे तापमान और समय पर तैयार माल नहीं उठाए जाने के कारण फार्म की स्थिति बिगड़ गई। फार्म संचालक का आरोप है कि कंपनी की ओर से समय पर व्यवस्था नहीं किए जाने के चलते यह नुकसान हुआ। लंबे समय से तैयार माल फार्म में ही पड़ा होने से अत्यधिक गर्मी और भीड़ का असर जीवों पर पड़ा, जिसे जीव सहन नहीं कर पाए और दम तोड़ दिया। फार्म संचालक गुरुचरण सिंह ने बताया कि यदि कंपनी समय रहते तैयार माल उठा लेती तो इतना बड़ा नुकसान नहीं होता। उन्होंने कहा कि पोल्ट्री व्यवसाय पहले ही महंगे चारे और बढ़ती लागत के दबाव में चल रहा है, ऐसे में इस घटना ने उन्हें आर्थिक रूप से झकझोर दिया है। फार्म संचालक ने संबंधित कंपनी से उचित मुआवजा देने तथा भविष्य में समय पर तैयार माल उठाने की व्यवस्था सुनिश्चित करने की मांग की है, ताकि अन्य पोल्ट्री फार्म संचालकों को इस प्रकार की परेशानी का सामना न करना पड़े।

In Phoolpur Gram Panchayat, located within the Paonta Sahib region, Gurcharan Singh—a farmer engaged in the poultry business and a poultry farm operator affiliated with the IBS Company—has suffered a severe financial setback. According to Gurcharan Singh, approximately 400 to 500 fully grown birds perished at his farm within the last 24 hours, leading to fears of financial losses amounting to hundreds of thousands of rupees. It is reported that the situation at the farm deteriorated due to continuously rising temperatures in the region and the failure to collect the ready-to-market stock on time. The farm operator alleges that this loss occurred because the company failed to make the necessary arrangements in a timely manner. As the ready stock remained at the farm for an extended period, the combined effects of excessive heat and overcrowding took a toll on the birds; unable to withstand these conditions, they succumbed and died. Farm operator Gurcharan Singh stated that had the company collected the ready stock in a timely fashion, such a massive loss would not have occurred. He noted that the poultry business is already operating under the pressure of expensive feed and rising operational costs; consequently, this incident has dealt him a severe financial blow. The farm operator has demanded that the concerned company provide appropriate compensation and ensure that arrangements are made to collect ready stock on time in the future, thereby preventing other poultry farm operators from having to face similar hardships.
