जिला सिरमौर में पाँवटा साहिब में सड़क हादसे में एक व्यक्ति घायल हो गया। मामले में पुलिस ने आरोपी ट्राला चालक के खिलाफ मामला दर्ज कर जांच शुरू कर दी है। प्राप्त जानकारी के अनुसार राहुल शर्मा निवासी गांव बाग हावड़ा तहसील कमरऊ जिला सिरमौर ने पुलिस थाना पाँवटा साहिब में रिपोर्ट दर्ज करवाई कि 19 मई को वह अपने पेट्रोल पंप से कमरे की ओर जा रहा था। जब वह साहिबजादा अजीत सिंह चौक के समीप भूपपुर पहुंचा तो उसने देखा कि रैनबैक्सी चौक की ओर से पाँवटा साहिब की तरफ आ रहे एक ट्राला चालक ने चौक पार करते समय आगे चल रहे स्कूटी चालक को ओवरटेक करते हुए टक्कर मार दी। हादसे के बाद ट्राला चालक मौके से फरार हो गया। राहुल शर्मा ने घायल स्कूटी चालक की पहचान अपने पेट्रोल पंप पर कार्यरत कैशियर योगराज वालिया के रूप में की। घायल की स्कूटी का नंबर HP17C-2156 बताया गया है। घटना स्थल के सीसीटीवी फुटेज की जांच करने पर ट्राला का नंबर HR38AJ-8419 सामने आया। पुलिस ने आरोपी ट्राला चालक के विरुद्ध संबंधित धाराओं के तहत मामला दर्ज कर आगामी कार्रवाई शुरू कर दी है।

A man sustained injuries in a road accident in Paonta Sahib, located in the Sirmour district. In connection with the incident, the police have registered a case against the accused trailer driver and have initiated an investigation. According to the information received, Rahul Sharma—a resident of Bag Hawra village in the Kamrau Tehsil of Sirmour district—filed a report at the Paonta Sahib Police Station stating that on May 19, he was traveling from his petrol pump toward his residence. Upon reaching Bhupur, near the Sahibzada Ajit Singh Chowk, he observed a trailer approaching Paonta Sahib from the direction of Ranbaxy Chowk; as the trailer driver crossed the intersection, he attempted to overtake a scooty rider traveling ahead of him, resulting in a collision. Following the accident, the trailer driver fled the scene. Rahul Sharma identified the injured scooty rider as Yograj Walia, a cashier employed at his petrol pump. The registration number of the injured man’s scooty has been reported as HP17C-2156. An examination of the CCTV footage from the accident site revealed the trailer’s registration number to be HR38AJ-8419. The police have registered a case against the accused trailer driver under the relevant sections of the law and have commenced further legal proceedings.
