जिला सिरमौर पुलिस द्वारा नशे के खिलाफ चलाए जा रहे अभियान के तहत डिटेक्शन सेल नाहन ने नोहराधार – राजगढ़ रोड पर बड़ी कार्रवाई करते हुए 10.54 ग्राम हेरोइन/चिट्टा बरामद कर दो आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार किया है। प्राप्त जानकारी के अनुसार 2 मई 2026 को डिटेक्शन सेल की टीम ने नोहराधार-राजगढ़ रोड पर केयर नाला के पास नाकाबंदी के दौरान दो व्यक्तियों को संदेह के आधार पर रोका। तलाशी लेने पर उनके कब्जे से 10.54 ग्राम हेरोइन/चिट्टा बरामद हुआ। गिरफ्तार आरोपियों की पहचान मनोज वर्मा (38 वर्ष), निवासी नोहराधार, जिला सिरमौर और सतीश कुमार (41 वर्ष), निवासी जिला करनाल, हरियाणा के रूप में हुई है। दोनों आरोपियों के खिलाफ थाना संगड़ाह में एनडीपीएस एक्ट की धारा 21 और 29 के तहत मामला दर्ज किया गया है। पुलिस ने आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार कर लिया है और अदालत से पुलिस रिमांड प्राप्त करने की प्रक्रिया जारी है। पुलिस मामले की गहन जांच में जुटी है और यह पता लगाया जा रहा है कि आरोपी नशे की खेप कहां से लाए थे तथा इसे किन लोगों तक पहुंचाने की योजना थी। सिरमौर पुलिस का कहना है कि नशा तस्करों के खिलाफ अभियान आगे भी इसी तरह जारी रहेगा।

As part of the ongoing anti-narcotics campaign launched by the Sirmaur District Police, the Detection Cell, Nahan, carried out a major operation on the Nohradhar-Rajgarh road, seizing 10.54 grams of heroin (‘Chitta’) and arresting two accused individuals. According to the information received, on May 2, 2026, a team from the Detection Cell intercepted two individuals on the Nohradhar-Rajgarh road near Care Nala during a routine checkpoint (naka). Upon conducting a search, 10.54 grams of heroin/Chitta were recovered from their possession.
The arrested accused have been identified as Manoj Verma (38), a resident of Nohradhar (District Sirmaur), and Satish Kumar (41), a resident of District Karnal (Haryana). A case has been registered against both accused at the Sangrah Police Station under Sections 21 and 29 of the NDPS Act. The police have taken the accused into custody, and the process of obtaining police remand from the court is currently underway. The police are conducting a thorough investigation into the matter to ascertain the source from which the accused procured the narcotics consignment and the individuals to whom they intended to deliver it. The Sirmaur Police have stated that the campaign against drug traffickers will continue in this manner in the future as well.
