जिला सिरमौर की डिटेक्शन सेल नाहन की टीम ने गुप्त सूचना के आधार पर कार्रवाई करते हुए दो युवकों को 20.14 ग्राम चिट्टा/हेरोइन के साथ गिरफ्तार किया है। जानकारी के अनुसार पुलिस टीम गश्त के दौरान मादक पदार्थों को लेकर सूचनाएं एकत्र कर रही थी, तभी गुप्त सूत्रों से सूचना मिली कि दो युवक मोटरसाइकिल (HP13-3714, KTM) पर चंडीगढ़ से नशे की खेप लेकर उज्जल माजरी बैरियर होते हुए सराहां (सोलन) की ओर जा रहे हैं। सूचना के आधार पर पुलिस ने तुरंत नाकाबंदी कर उक्त मोटरसाइकिल को रोका। बाइक पर सवार युवकों ने अपनी पहचान शुभम शर्मा (निवासी सोलन) और रजत मिश्रा (निवासी मंडी) के रूप में बताई। तलाशी के दौरान बाइक की सीट के नीचे छिपाकर रखा गया 20.14 ग्राम चिट्टा/हेरोइन बरामद हुआ। पुलिस थाना काला आम्ब में दोनों आरोपियों के खिलाफ NDPS एक्ट की धारा 21 और 29 के तहत मामला दर्ज किया गया है। आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार कर अदालत से पुलिस रिमांड लिया जा रहा है। पुलिस अब यह जांच कर रही है कि नशे की यह खेप कहां से लाई गई थी और किन लोगों को सप्लाई की जानी थी, ताकि पूरे नेटवर्क का पर्दाफाश किया जा सके।

Acting on a tip-off, the Detection Cell team of District Sirmaur (Nahan) has arrested two youths in possession of 20.14 grams of ‘Chitta’ (heroin). According to reports, the police team was gathering intelligence regarding narcotics while on patrol when they received a confidential tip-off from secret sources. The information indicated that two youths, traveling on a motorcycle (HP13-3714, KTM) from Chandigarh, were transporting a consignment of narcotics and heading towards Sarahan (Solan) via the Ujjal Majri barrier. Acting on this information, the police immediately set up a roadblock and intercepted the said motorcycle. The youths riding the bike identified themselves as Shubham Sharma (a resident of Solan) and Rajat Mishra (a resident of Mandi). During the subsequent search, 20.14 grams of ‘Chitta’ (heroin)—which had been concealed beneath the bike’s seat—was recovered. A case has been registered against both accused individuals at the Kala Amb Police Station under Sections 21 and 29 of the NDPS Act. The accused have been arrested, and the police are currently seeking their remand from the court. The police are now investigating the origin of the narcotics consignment and the intended recipients of the supply, with the aim of dismantling the entire trafficking network.
