1 जून से आरंभ हुई हेमकुंड साहिब यात्रा के चलते ऐतिहासिक गुरुद्वारा श्री पांवटा साहिब में श्रद्धालुओं का सैलाब उमड़ रहा है। देश के विभिन्न राज्यों से हजारों श्रद्धालु हेमकुंड साहिब की यात्रा पर जाने से पूर्व गुरु घर में मत्था टेकने और आशीर्वाद प्राप्त करने के लिए पांवटा साहिब पहुंच रहे हैं। गुरुद्वारा प्रबंधक कमेटी के प्रधान हरभजन सिंह ने बताया कि हेमकुंड साहिब यात्रा के दौरान हर वर्ष बड़ी संख्या में संगत पांवटा साहिब पहुंचती है। श्रद्धालुओं की सुविधा को ध्यान में रखते हुए गुरुद्वारा परिसर में ठहरने, लंगर, स्वच्छ पेयजल, चिकित्सा सहायता तथा सुरक्षा के व्यापक इंतजाम किए गए हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि संगत को किसी प्रकार की असुविधा न हो, इसके लिए प्रबंधक कमेटी के सदस्य और सेवादार दिन-रात सेवा में जुटे हुए हैं। गुरुद्वारा साहिब में श्रद्धालुओं के लिए 24 घंटे गुरु का लंगर भी निरंतर चल रहा है, जहां बड़ी संख्या में श्रद्धालु प्रसाद ग्रहण कर रहे हैं। प्रधान हरभजन सिंह ने बताया कि गुरु गोबिंद सिंह जी की तपोस्थली और ऐतिहासिक धरोहर होने के कारण गुरुद्वारा श्री पांवटा साहिब का विशेष धार्मिक महत्व है। यही कारण है कि हेमकुंड साहिब जाने वाले अधिकांश श्रद्धालु यहां पहुंचकर शीश नवाते हैं और गुरु का आशीर्वाद प्राप्त करते हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि आने वाले दिनों में श्रद्धालुओं की संख्या और बढ़ने की संभावना है। इसे देखते हुए प्रबंधक कमेटी ने सभी आवश्यक तैयारियां पूरी कर ली हैं ताकि संगत को बेहतर सुविधाएं उपलब्ध कराई जा सकें।

A massive influx of pilgrims is being witnessed at the historic Gurudwara Sri Paonta Sahib due to the Hemkund Sahib pilgrimage, which commenced on June 1st. Thousands of devotees from various states across the country are arriving at Paonta Sahib to pay their obeisance and seek blessings at the holy shrine before proceeding on their journey to Hemkund Sahib. Harbhajan Singh, President of the Gurudwara Management Committee, stated that a large number of devotees (Sangat) visit Paonta Sahib every year during the Hemkund Sahib pilgrimage season. Comprehensive arrangements—including accommodation, Langar (community kitchen), clean drinking water, medical aid, and security—have been made within the Gurudwara complex for the convenience of the pilgrims. He added that members of the management committee and volunteers (Sevadars) are working round-the-clock to ensure the devotees face no inconvenience. The Guru ka Langar is also operating continuously, 24 hours a day, serving Prasad to a large number of pilgrims.President Harbhajan Singh noted that Gurudwara Sri Paonta Sahib holds immense religious significance as the historic site where Guru Gobind Singh Ji performed penance. Consequently, most pilgrims bound for Hemkund Sahib stop here to bow their heads in reverence and seek the Guru’s blessings. He mentioned that the number of pilgrims is expected to rise further in the coming days; in anticipation of this, the management committee has completed all necessary preparations to ensure the Sangat is provided with excellent facilities.
