पुलिस थाना पांवटा साहिब में स्पेशल डिटेक्शन सेल ने गश्त के दौरान एक व्यक्ति को 1.74 ग्राम स्मैक/हेरोइन के साथ गिरफ्तार किया है। पुलिस टीम को विश्वकर्मा चौक पर गुप्त सूचना मिली थी कि शिलाई क्षेत्र का एक व्यक्ति नशे की खेप लेकर पांवटा साहिब आ रहा है। सूचना के आधार पर टीम ने यमुना पुल के पास घेराबंदी कर संदिग्ध व्यक्ति को काबू किया। पूछताछ में उसने अपना नाम प्रकाश पुत्र गम्भु राम निवासी गांव च्याना, तहसील शिलाई बताया। तलाशी के दौरान उसके पास से माचिस की डिब्बी में 1.74 ग्राम स्मैक बरामद हुई। पुलिस ने आरोपी के खिलाफ NDPS एक्ट की धारा 21 के तहत मामला दर्ज कर लिया है। साथ ही यह जांच की जा रही है कि वह नशा कहां से लाया था और किसे सप्लाई करने वाला था। पांवटा साहिब में 1.74 ग्राम स्मैक के साथ शिलाई का युवक गिर*फ्तार…

Youth from Shillai Arrested in Paonta Sahib with 1.74 Grams of Smack

The Special Detection Cell at the Paonta Sahib Police Station has arrested an individual found in possession of 1.74 grams of smack (heroin) during a routine patrol. The police team had received a confidential tip-off at Vishwakarma Chowk indicating that a man from the Shillai region was heading toward Paonta Sahib carrying a consignment of narcotics. Acting on this information, the team set up a cordon near the Yamuna Bridge and apprehended the suspect. During interrogation, he identified himself as Prakash, son of Gambhu Ram, a resident of Village Chyana, Tehsil Shillai. A subsequent search of his person led to the recovery of 1.74 grams of smack, which was found concealed inside a matchbox. The police have registered a case against the accused under Section 21 of the NDPS Act. Additionally, an investigation is underway to determine the source of the narcotics and the intended recipient of the supply.
