विश्वकर्मा चौक पर सड़क जाम कर यातायात बाधित करने के मामले में पुलिस थाना पांवटा साहिब ने संयम गुप्ता सहित कई लोगों के खिलाफ मामला दर्ज किया है। पुलिस ने आरोपियों पर सार्वजनिक मार्ग अवरुद्ध करने और सरकारी कर्मचारियों के कार्य में बाधा पहुंचाने का आरोप लगाया है। पुलिस के मुताबिक विश्वकर्मा चौक पर स्थानीय लोगों द्वारा सड़क जाम किए जाने की सूचना मिलने पर पुलिस टीम मौके पर पहुंची। जांच में पाया गया कि नाहन-पांवटा मार्ग, विश्वकर्मा चौक-रामपुरघाट मार्ग और विश्वकर्मा-कुल्हाल मार्ग पर वाहनों की आवाजाही रोक दी गई थी, जिससे आम लोगों को भारी परेशानी का सामना करना पड़ा। पुलिस का कहना है कि अधिकारियों ने मौके पर मौजूद लोगों को कई बार समझाने और यातायात बहाल करने का प्रयास किया, लेकिन प्रदर्शनकारी नहीं माने और प्रशासन के खिलाफ नारेबाजी करते रहे। इस दौरान करीब दो घंटे तक यातायात पूरी तरह प्रभावित रहा। पुलिस जांच में सामने आया है कि संयम गुप्ता पुत्र अरविंद गुप्ता निवासी देवीनगर, पांवटा साहिब ने अपने सहयोगी हिमांशु तथा 15 से 20 अन्य लोगों के साथ मिलकर भीड़ एकत्र की और सड़क जाम किया। पुलिस ने आरोपियों के खिलाफ विभिन्न धाराओं के तहत मामला दर्ज कर लिया है। एस॰पी सिरमौर एन॰एस नेगी का कहना है कि मामले की जांच जारी है और जांच के दौरान सामने आने वाले तथ्यों के आधार पर आगे की कानूनी कार्रवाई अमल में लाई जाएगी।

The Paonta Sahib Police Station has registered a case against several individuals, including Sanyam Gupta, for blocking the road and disrupting traffic at Vishwakarma Chowk. The police have accused the accused of obstructing a public thoroughfare and hindering government officials in the discharge of their duties. According to the police, a team arrived at the scene after receiving information that local residents had blocked the road at Vishwakarma Chowk. The investigation revealed that vehicular movement on the Nahan-Paonta road, Vishwakarma Chowk-Rampurghat road, and Vishwakarma-Kulhal road had been halted, causing significant inconvenience to the general public. The police stated that officials repeatedly tried to reason with the people present and restore traffic flow, but the protesters refused to yield and continued raising slogans against the administration. Traffic remained completely disrupted for approximately two hours. Police investigations revealed that Sanyam Gupta, son of Arvind Gupta and a resident of Devinagar, Paonta Sahib, along with his associate Himanshu and 15 to 20 others, gathered a crowd and blocked the road. The police have registered a case against the accused under various sections of the law. Sirmaur SP N.S. Negi stated that the investigation is ongoing, and further legal action will be taken based on the facts that emerge during the probe.
