आज तड़के नाहन-पांवटा नेशनल हाईवे पर एक ट्रक में भीषण आग लग जाने से इलाके में हड़कंप मच गया। यह हादसा दोसड़का (पांवटा रोड) के पास पेश आया। दमकल विभाग की मुस्तैदी के कारण एक बड़े हादसे को टाल दिया गया, हालांकि इस घटना में लाखों रुपये की संपत्ति जलकर राख हो गई है। अग्निशमन केंद्र नाहन से प्राप्त जानकारी के अनुसार, शुक्रवार सुबह करीब 5:35 बजे अहमद खान नामक व्यक्ति ने विभाग को आग की सूचना दी। दमकल केंद्र से घटनास्थल की दूरी करीब 4 किलोमीटर थी। सूचना मिलते ही दमकल की टीम महज एक मिनट के भीतर (5:36 बजे) रवाना हो गई और 5:42 बजे मौके पर पहुँचकर राहत कार्य शुरू कर दिया। बताया जा रहा है कि ट्रक (नंबर JK 14E 1681) कालाअंब स्थित रुचिका पेपर मिल से कोयले की राख लेकर पांवटा साहिब की एक सीमेंट फैक्ट्री की ओर जा रहा था। प्राथमिक जांच में आग लगने का मुख्य कारण शॉर्ट सर्किट बताया गया है। ट्रक ऊधमपुर (जम्मू) की श्रीराम कंपनी का बताया जा रहा है। इस अग्निकांड में लगभग 3 लाख रुपये का नुकसान हुआ है। ट्रक का लकड़ी का केबिन, एक टायर और इंजन की पूरी वायरिंग जलकर खाक हो गई। दमकल टीम ने कड़ी मशक्कत के बाद करीब 30 लाख रुपये की संपत्ति को सुरक्षित बचा लिया। इसमें ट्रक की बॉडी, मुख्य इंजन, ट्रक में लदा माल और मौके पर रखे एलपीजी सिलेंडर शामिल थे। राहत की बात यह रही कि इस हादसे में कोई जानी नुकसान (जनहानि) नहीं हुई। दमकल कर्मियों ने करीब 57 मिनट की मशक्कत के बाद आग पर पूरी तरह काबू पाया। टीम का नेतृत्व शिफ्ट प्रभारी ने किया, जिसमें कुल 4 सदस्य (LFM-1, HG-2, DRV-1) शामिल रहे। मौके पर पुलिस की टीम भी तैनात रही और जांच जारी है।

Nahan: Massive Fire Engulfs Moving Truck Near Dosarka; Losses Amount to Lakhs; Fire Department Averts Major Disaster

Panic gripped the area early this morning after a massive fire broke out in a truck on the Nahan-Paonta National Highway. The incident occurred near Dosarka (on the Paonta Road). Thanks to the vigilance and prompt response of the Fire Department, a major disaster was averted; however, property worth lakhs of rupees was reduced to ashes in the incident. According to information received from the Nahan Fire Station, a man named Ahmed Khan alerted the department about the fire at approximately 5:35 AM on Friday. The distance between the fire station and the incident site was about 4 kilometers. Upon receiving the information, the fire brigade team mobilized within just one minute (at 5:36 AM), reached the scene by 5:42 AM, and immediately commenced relief operations. It is reported that the truck (bearing registration number JK 14E 1681) was transporting coal ash from the Ruchika Paper Mill in Kala Amb to a cement factory in Paonta Sahib. Preliminary investigations suggest that a short circuit was the primary cause of the fire. The truck reportedly belongs to the Shriram Company based in Udhampur (Jammu). The fire incident resulted in a financial loss of approximately ₹3 lakh. The truck’s wooden cabin, one tire, and the entire engine wiring were completely destroyed by the flames. Following a strenuous effort, the fire brigade team successfully salvaged property worth approximately ₹30 lakh. This included the truck’s body, the main engine, the cargo loaded in the truck, and LPG cylinders present at the scene. A significant relief was that the incident resulted in no loss of life or injury. Firefighting personnel brought the blaze completely under control after battling it for about 57 minutes. The team was led by the Shift In-charge and comprised a total of four members (1 LFM, 2 HGs, and 1 Driver). A police team was also deployed at the scene, and an investigation into the incident is currently underway.
