पांवटा साहिब क्षेत्र के अंतर्गत थाना पुरुवाला पुलिस ने अवैध शराब के खिलाफ कार्रवाई करते हुए दो अलग-अलग मामलों में कुल 9 लीटर शराब बरामद की है। पहले मामले में पुलिस ने गश्त के दौरान गाँव नारीवाला में एक महिला के कब्जे से 5 लीटर अवैध शराब बरामद की। इस संबंध में थाना पुरुवाला में हिमाचल प्रदेश आबकारी अधिनियम की धारा 39(1)(a) के तहत मामला दर्ज कर जांच शुरू कर दी गई है। वहीं दूसरे मामले में पुलिस ने मुखबिर की सूचना पर गाँव ज्वालापुर में छापेमारी की, जहां एक घर से 4 लीटर अवैध शराब बरामद की गई। इस मामले में भी एक महिला के खिलाफ अवैध शराब बेचने के आरोप में मामला दर्ज किया गया है। पुलिस के अनुसार दोनों मामलों में आगामी जांच जारी है और अवैध शराब के कारोबार पर सख्ती से कार्रवाई की जा रही है।

Puruwala police station, under the Paonta Sahib jurisdiction, seized a total of 9 liters of liquor in two separate cases while taking action against illegal liquor. In the first case, police recovered 5 liters of illicit liquor from a woman in Nariwala village during patrolling. A case has been registered at Puruwala police station under Section 39(1)(a) of the Himachal Pradesh Excise Act and an investigation has been initiated. In the second case, acting on a tip-off, police raided Jwalapur village, where 4 liters of illicit liquor were recovered from a house. A case has also been filed against a woman for selling illicit liquor. According to the police, further investigations are underway in both cases, and strict action is being taken against the illegal liquor trade.
