थाना पांवटा साहिब के तहत भूपपुर में एक तेज रफ्तार ट्रक चालक द्वारा लापरवाही से वाहन मोड़ने के कारण सड़क किनारे खड़ी महिला को जोरदार टक्कर मारने का मामला सामने आया है। हादसे में महिला के घुटनों से नीचे दोनों टांगों में गंभीर चोटें आई हैं। पुलिस ने शिकायत के आधार पर ट्रक चालक के खिलाफ मामला दर्ज कर आगामी कार्रवाई शुरू कर दी है। पुलिस को दी शिकायत में गौरव चौहान निवासी फांदी बोडीवाला, कोलर ने बताया कि वह अपनी कार ठीक करवाने पांवटा साहिब आया था। जब वह भूपपुर के पास मौजूद था, तो एक ट्रक (HP17E-1290) के चालक ने बद्रीपुर की तरफ यू-टर्न लेते समय सड़क किनारे खड़ी एक महिला को टक्कर मार दी। हादसे के तुरंत बाद शिकायतकर्ता गौरव और ट्रक चालक कमल सिंह (निवासी डण्डोर) ने घायल महिला को कार में बिठाकर सिविल अस्पताल पांवटा साहिब पहुंचाया। अस्पताल में घायल महिला की पहचान गुमानी देवी पत्नी सोहन सिंह, निवासी रेणुका कॉलोनी, पांवटा साहिब के रूप में हुई है। एस.पी. सिरमौर एन.एस. नेगी ने बताया कि पुलिस ने आरोपी ट्रक चालक कमल सिंह के खिलाफ लापरवाही से वाहन चलाने का मुकदमा दर्ज कर जांच शुरू कर दी है।

An incident has been reported from Bhuppur, under the jurisdiction of the Paonta Sahib police station, where a speeding truck driver, while turning his vehicle negligently, struck a woman standing by the roadside. The woman sustained severe injuries to both legs below the knees in the accident. Acting on a complaint, the police have registered a case against the truck driver and initiated further proceedings. In the complaint lodged with the police, Gaurav Chauhan, a resident of Phandi Bodiwala (Kolar), stated that he had come to Paonta Sahib to get his car repaired. While he was near Bhuppur, the driver of a truck (HP17E-1290) struck a woman standing on the roadside while taking a U-turn towards Badripur. Immediately after the accident, the complainant, Gaurav, and the truck driver, Kamal Singh (a resident of Dandor), rushed the injured woman to the Civil Hospital in Paonta Sahib in a car. At the hospital, the injured woman was identified as Gumani Devi, wife of Sohan Singh, a resident of Renuka Colony, Paonta Sahib. Sirmaur SP N.S. Negi stated that the police have registered a case of negligent driving against the accused truck driver, Kamal Singh, and have launched an investigation.
