पांवटा साहिब के यमुना नदी से एक 15 वर्षीय लड़की का शव बरामद हुआ है। पुलिस ने शव को नदी से बाहर निकालकर मामला दर्ज कर जांच शुरू कर दी है। प्राप्त जानकारी के अनुसार पुलिस को सूचना मिली पांवटा साहिब के स्वर्गधाम के नजदीक यमुना नदी के किनारे एक लड़की, का शव पड़ा हुआ है। सूचना मिलते ही पुलिस टीम मौके पर पहुंची और शव को नदी से बाहर निकालकर शवगृह लाया
गया। जांच के बाद मृतक लड़की की पहचान आस्था (15) पुत्री वेदप्रकाश, निवासी वार्ड नंबर 10, पांवटा साहिब के रूप में हुई है। लड़की 19 अप्रैल से घर से लापता थी तथा परिजनों ने लड़की की गुमशुदगी की रिपोर्ट पांवटा साहिब पुलिस थाने में दर्ज करवाई थी। युवती के मौत के कारणों का अभी तक पता नहीं चल पाया है। पोस्टमार्टम रिपोर्ट आने के बाद ही मौत के कारण का पता लग पायेगा। पुलिस टीम ने शव को कब्जे में लेकर जांच शुरू कर दी है। युवक ने जहरीला पदार्थ खाकर दी जान.. वहीं दूसरी ओर राजेन्द्र (20) पुत्र जगदीश चंद, निवासी सुरजपुर तहसील पांवटा साहिब ने घर पर जहरीला पदार्थ निगल लिया। जब युवक की तबीयत खराब हुई तो परिजनों ने तुरंत सिविल अस्पताल पहुंचाया। यहां पर प्राथमिक उपचार के बाद चिकित्सकों ने गंभीर अवस्था में पीजीआई चंडीगढ़ के लिए रेफर कर दिया। पीजीआई चंडीगढ़ में उपचार के दौरान युवक की मौत हो गई।

The body of a 15-year-old girl has been recovered from the Yamuna River in Paonta Sahib. Police retrieved the body, registered a case, and began an investigation. According to information received, police received information about a girl’s body lying on the banks of the Yamuna River near Swargadham in Paonta Sahib. Upon receiving the information, a police team arrived at the scene, retrieved the body, and brought it to the mortuary. Following an investigation, the deceased girl was identified as Aastha (15), daughter of Vedprakash, a resident of Ward No. 10, Paonta Sahib. The girl had been missing from home since April 19th, and her family filed a missing person report at the Paonta Sahib police station. The cause of the girl’s death is not yet known. The cause of death will be determined only after the post-mortem report is received. The police team has taken the body into custody and begun an investigation. A young man committed suicide by consuming a poisonous substance. On the other hand, Rajendra (20), son of Jagdish Chand, a resident of Surajpur, Tehsil Paonta Sahib, swallowed a poisonous substance at home. When the young man’s health deteriorated, his family immediately rushed him to the Civil Hospital. After providing first aid, doctors referred him to PGI Chandigarh in critical condition. The young man died during treatment at PGI Chandigarh.
