राजकीय वरिष्ठ माध्यमिक विद्यालय रजाना की छात्राएँ आरूषि और तनुश्री का चयन राज्य स्तरीय खो-खो प्रतियोगिता के लिए हुआ है। यह चयन हाल ही में सराहां में आयोजित जिला स्तरीय अंडर-19 खेलकूद प्रतियोगिता में उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन के आधार पर किया गया। विद्यालय के शारीरिक शिक्षक एवं संगड़ाह खंड के खेल प्रभारी देवपाल सिंह ने बताया कि राज्य स्तरीय खो-खो प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन 14 अक्टूबर से शिमला जिला के चौपाल में किया जाएगा।

जिला स्तरीय छात्रा वर्ग अंडर-19 प्रतियोगिता 6 से 8 अक्टूबर तक राजकीय वरिष्ठ माध्यमिक विद्यालय सराहां में आयोजित की गई थी। इस प्रतियोगिता में संगड़ाह जोन की छात्राओं ने शानदार प्रदर्शन करते हुए द्वितीय स्थान प्राप्त किया। प्रतियोगिता में रा.व.मा. विद्यालय रजाना की 5, रा.उ.न.मा. विद्यालय लुधियाना की 5 छात्राओं तथा रा.व.मा. विद्यालय लाना पालर की 2 छात्राओं ने भाग लिया। खेल प्रभारी देवपाल सिंह ने बताया कि रजाना विद्यालय की छात्राएँ — आरूषि , सुपुत्री गोविंद सिंह और तनुश्री सुपुत्री ईश्वर चंद का चयन राज्य स्तरीय खो-खो प्रतियोगिता के लिए हुआ है।

Aarushi and Tanushree, students of Government Senior Secondary School, Rajana, have been selected for the state-level Kho-Kho competition. The selection was based on their excellent performance in the recent district-level Under-19 sports competition held in Sarahan. Devpal Singh, the school’s physical education teacher and sports in-charge of Sangrah block, said that the state-level Kho-Kho competition will be held in Chaupal, Shimla district, from October 14th.

The district level under-19 girl’s category competition was held from 6th to 8th October at Government Senior Secondary School, Sarahan. In this competition, the girl students of Sangrah zone performed brilliantly and secured the second position. Five girl students from Government Senior Secondary School, Rajana, five girl students from Government Upper Primary School, Ludhiana and two girl students from Government Senior Secondary School, Lana Paler participated in the competition. Sports in-charge Devpal Singh said that the girl students of Rajana School – Aarushi, daughter of Govind Singh and Tanushree, daughter of Ishwar Chand have been selected for the state level Kho-Kho competition.
