सिरमौर जिले के उपमंडल संगड़ाह में एक बार फिर सड़कों की खस्ताहाली काल बनकर सामने आई है। पियूलाणी-भलोना मार्ग पर सोमवार को एक भीषण सड़क हादसे में चार लोगों की दर्दनाक मौत हो गई, जबकि चालक गंभीर रूप से घायल है। जानकारी के अनुसार, आई-10 कार (HP79-2756) अनियंत्रित होकर गहरी खाई में जा गिरी। हादसा इतना भयानक था कि कार के परखच्चे उड़ गए और चार लोगों ने मौके पर ही दम तोड़ दिया। मृतकों में भलौना स्कूल की मुख्य शिक्षिका (CHT) अमरा देवी और उनकी बेटी भी शामिल हैं। मृतकों की पहचान 52 वर्षीय अमरा देवी (निवासी गांव गाता, वर्तमान सीएचटी भलौना), उनकी 14 वर्षीय बेटी अराध्या, ऊँचा टिक्कर की 14 वर्षीय प्रियंका और भलौना के 62 वर्षीय सज्जन सिंह के रूप में हुई है। बताया जा रहा है कि अमरा देवी अपने बच्चों के साथ स्कूल ड्यूटी पर जा रही थीं, तभी यह हादसा पेश आया। कार चालक 33 वर्षीय अजीत कुमार गंभीर रूप से घायल है, जिसे प्राथमिक उपचार के बाद मेडिकल कॉलेज नाहन रेफर किया गया है। घटना की सूचना मिलते ही एसडीएम सुनील कायथ और पुलिस टीम ने मौके पर पहुंचकर स्थानीय लोगों की मदद से बचाव कार्य शुरू किया। इस हादसे ने एक बार फिर इलाके की सड़कों की सुरक्षा पर बड़े सवाल खड़े कर दिए हैं। स्थानीय निवासियों में प्रशासन के प्रति गहरा रोष है। लोगों का कहना है कि पियूलाणी-भलोना और संगड़ाह-गत्ताधार जैसे संपर्क मार्गों की हालत लंबे समय से जर्जर है। सड़कों पर पड़े बड़े-बड़े गड्ढे और धंसते हुए डंगे आए दिन हादसों को न्योता दे रहे हैं। बार-बार की गई मांगों के बावजूद मरम्मत कार्य न होने से अब जनता का धैर्य जवाब दे रहा है। राजगढ़ के डीएसपी विद्या चंद नेगी, जिनके पास संगड़ाह का अतिरिक्त कार्यभार है, उन्होंने घटना की पुष्टि करते हुए कहा कि पुलिस मामले की गहन जांच कर रही है।

Four people were tragically killed and the driver seriously injured in a horrific road accident on the Piulani-Bhalona road on Monday. According to reports, an i-10 car (HP79-2756) lost control and fell into a deep ravine. The accident was so devastating that the car was completely destroyed, killing all four people on the spot. The deceased include Amra Devi, the head teacher (CHT) of Bhalauna School, and her daughter. The deceased have been identified as 52-year-old Amra Devi (resident of village Gata, currently CHT Bhalauna), her 14-year-old daughter Aradhya, 14-year-old Priyanka of Uncha Tikkar, and 62-year-old Sajjan Singh of Bhalauna. It is reported that Amra Devi was on her way to school with her children when the accident occurred. The car driver, 33-year-old Ajit Kumar, is seriously injured and has been referred to Nahan Medical College after first aid. Upon receiving information about the incident, SDM Sunil Kaith and a police team arrived at the scene and began rescue operations with the help of local residents. This accident has once again raised serious questions about the safety of roads in the area. Local residents are deeply angry with the administration. People say that connecting roads like Piulani-Bhalona and Sangrah-Gattadhar have been in poor condition for a long time. Large potholes and sinking culverts on the roads are inviting accidents every day. Despite repeated demands, the lack of repair work is now wearing out the public’s patience. Rajgarh DSP Vidya Chand Negi, who holds additional charge of Sangrah, confirmed the incident and said that the police are conducting a thorough investigation.
