जिला सिरमौर में आपदा के कारण हुए नुकसान तथा राहत कार्य की समीक्षा बैठक आज नाहन स्थित बचत भवन में आयोजित की गई जिसकी अध्यक्षता उद्योग, संसदीय मामले तथा श्रम एवं रोजगार मंत्री हर्षवर्धन चौहान ने की। यह बैठक हिमाचल प्रदेश विधान सभा उपाध्यक्ष विनय कुमार, विधायक पांवटा साहिब सुखराम चौधरी, विधायक पच्छाद रीना कश्यप व विधायक नाहन अजय सोलंकी की उपस्थिति में आयोजित हुई। उद्योग मंत्री ने बैठक की समीक्षा करते हुए कहा कि जिला सिरमौर में मानसून के कारण लगभग 230 करोड़ रुपये का नुकसान हुआ है। उन्होंने नायब तहसीलदार तथा पटवारियों को आपदा से हुए नुकसान का सही आंकलन कर पात्र व्यक्तियों को राहत दिलाने के लिए सक्रियता के साथ कार्य करने को कहा।

उन्होंने लोक निर्माण विभाग तथा राष्ट्रिय उच्च मार्ग के अधिकारियों को अवरूद्ध मार्गों को खोलने तथा क्षतिग्रस्त हुई सड़कों को शीध्रता से दुरूस्त करने को कहा। उन्होंने जिला प्रशासन को आपदा से क्षतिग्रस्त हुए स्वास्थ्य एवं शिक्षण संस्थानों को प्राथमिकता आधार पर राहत प्रदान करने के निर्देश दिए। उन्होंने इस आपदा के समय सभी से मिलकर साथ खड़े होंने का आह्वाहन किया ताकि सिरमौर जिला में हुई इस क्षति की शीध्रता से पूर्ति की जा सके।उन्होंने कहा कि इस समीक्षा बैठक का उदेश्य सभी चुनें हुए प्रतिनिधियों से उनके क्षेत्र में हुई आपदा की जानकारी लेने तथा उस क्षेत्र में किए जा रहे राहत कार्यों की समीक्षा करना भी है। बैठक में बताया गया कि जिला सिरमौर में मानसून से हुए नुकसान से निपटने के लिए जिला के संबंधित विभागाध्यक्षों के साथ नियमित रूप से बैठक आयोजित की जा रही है।

जिला सिरमौर में आपदा के समय खोज एवं बचाव के लिए तहसील ददाहु के कुब्जा पवेलियन में राष्ट्रीय आपदा बचाव बल स्थापित किया गया है। आपदा से निपटने के लिए त्वरित प्रतिक्रिया दल भी स्थापित किए गए है। जिला में आपदा संबंधित घटनाओं की रिपोर्ट के लिए 24×7 जिला आपातकालीन परिचालन केंद्र भी स्थापित है और टोल फ्री नंबर 1077 पर संपर्क किया जा सकता है। बैठक में अवगत करवाया गया कि जिला सिरमौर में 20 जून से 09 सितंबर, 2025 तक 10 पक्के घर एवं 12 कच्चे घर पूर्ण रूप से क्षतिग्रस्त और 51 पक्के घर एवं 40 कच्चे घर आंशिक रूप से क्षतिग्रस्त हुए है। जिला में 90 गौशालाएं, 04 दुकानें क्षतिग्रस्त और 44 पशुधन का नुकसान हुआ है।

वर्ष 2025 में मानसून के कारण जिला सिरमौर में राजस्व विभाग के अतिरिक्त अन्य विभिन्न विभागों को लगभग 170 करोड़ रुपए का नुकसान हुआ है। सिरमौर जिला में आपदा से हुए नुकसान के लिए राज्य आपदा राहत कोष के माध्यम से 12 करोड़ 74 लाख की राशि विभिन्न आपदा संबंधित कार्यों पर व्यय की जा चुकी है। जिले में आपदा से सड़कों, पुलों, जल आपूर्ति तथा स्थाई निकायों एवं अन्य गैर सरकारी निकायों को हुए नुकसान के लिए 04 करोड़ 44 लाख रुपए आबंटित किए गए है। उपायुक्त सिरमौर प्रियंका वर्मा ने बैठक के अध्यक्ष एवं अन्य जनप्रतिनिधियों को आश्वासन दिया कि जिला में आपदा से हुई क्षति का सही आंकलन कर प्रभावित परिवारों को शीघ्र राहत उपलब्ध करवाई जाएगी।

A review meeting on the damage caused by the disaster and relief work in Sirmaur district was held today at the Bachat Bhawan in Nahan. It was chaired by Industries, Parliamentary Affairs and Labour & Employment Minister Harsh Vardhan Chauhan. This meeting was held in the presence of Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly Deputy Speaker Vinay Kumar, MLA Paonta Sahib Sukhram Chaudhary, MLA Pachhad Reena Kashyap and MLA Nahan Ajay Solanki. While reviewing the meeting, the Industries Minister said that Sirmaur district has suffered a loss of about Rs 230 crore due to the monsoon. He asked the Naib Tehsildar and Patwaris to work proactively to provide relief to eligible persons by correctly assessing the damage caused by the disaster.

He asked the Public Works Department and National Highways officers to clear the blocked roads and repair the damaged roads at the earliest. He directed the district administration to provide relief on priority basis to the health and educational institutions damaged by the disaster. He appealed to all to stand together in this time of disaster so that the damage caused in Sirmaur district can be repaired at the earliest. He said that the objective of this review meeting is to take information from all the elected representatives about the disaster that happened in their area and also to review the relief work being done in that area. It was told in the meeting that regular meetings are being held with the concerned department heads of the district to deal with the damage caused by monsoon in Sirmaur district.

National Disaster Rescue Force has been established at Kubja Pavilion of Tehsil Dadahu for search and rescue in times of disaster in Sirmaur district. Quick response teams have also been established to deal with the disaster. A 24×7 District Emergency Operation Center has also been established to report disaster related incidents in the district and toll free number 1077 can be contacted. It was informed in the meeting that from 20 June to 09 September, 2025, 10 pucca houses and 12 kutcha houses were completely damaged and 51 pucca houses and 40 kutcha houses were partially damaged in Sirmaur district. 90 Gaushalas, 04 shops were damaged and 44 livestock were lost in the district.

In the year 2025, due to monsoon, apart from the Revenue Department, various other departments in Sirmaur district have suffered a loss of about Rs 170 crore. An amount of Rs 12 crore 74 lakh has been spent on various disaster related works through the State Disaster Relief Fund for the loss caused by the disaster in Sirmaur district. Rs 04 crore 44 lakh has been allocated for the damage caused to roads, bridges, water supply and permanent bodies and other non-government bodies in the district due to the disaster. Deputy Commissioner Sirmaur Priyanka Verma assured the chairman of the meeting and other public representatives that the damage caused by the disaster in the district will be properly assessed and immediate relief will be provided to the affected families.
