जिला मुख्यालय नाहन में चोरों और असामाजिक तत्वों के हौसले इस कदर बढ़ चुके हैं कि अब उन्हें कानून का कोई खौफ नहीं रह गया है। शहर में चोरी का एक बेहद हैरान करने वाला और सनसनीखेज मामला सामने आया है, जहां शातिर चोरों ने शिमला रोड पर खड़ी एक चमचमाती मारुति सुज़ुकी (फ्रॉन्क्स) के चारों ही टायर और अलॉय व्हील उड़ा दिए। चोरों ने वारदात को इतनी सफाई से अंजाम दिया कि गाड़ी को ईंटों के सहारे खड़ा कर रफूचक्कर हो गए। इतना ही नहीं, चोरों की भूख यहीं शांत नहीं हुई। उन्होंने इसी क्षेत्र में थोड़ी ही दूरी पर खड़ी एक अन्य गाड़ी को भी निशाना बनाया और उसका भी एक टायर खोलकर ले उड़े। जानकारी के अनुसार, रोज़ की तरह वाहन मालिक ने अपनी गाड़ी (नंबर: HP 18 C 6241) को शिमला रोड के पास पार्क किया था। लेकिन जब सुबह देखा गया तो गाड़ी के चारों पहिए गायब थे और कार पत्थरों व ईंटों के सहारे टिकी हुई थी। दिनदहाड़े और मुख्य मार्ग के पास हुई इस वारदात से स्थानीय निवासियों और वाहन मालिकों में भारी रोष और दहशत का माहौल है। घटना की सूचना मिलते ही पुलिस टीम ने मौके पर पहुंचकर स्थिति का जायजा लिया और तफ्तीश शुरू कर दी है। स्थानीय लोगों का कहना है कि शहर में रात के समय गश्त बढ़ाने की सख्त जरूरत है, क्योंकि चोरों के बढ़ते हौसले अब आम जनता की संपत्ति के लिए बड़ा खतरा बन चुके हैं।

A shocking and sensational case of theft has come to light in the city, where cunning thieves made off with all four tyres and alloy wheels of a gleaming Maruti Suzuki (Fronx) parked on Shimla Road. The thieves executed the crime with such precision that they propped the vehicle up on bricks before fleeing the scene. Their appetite for theft did not end there; they targeted another vehicle parked a short distance away in the same area and stole one of its tyres as well. According to reports, the vehicle owner had parked their car (Registration No. HP 18 C 6241) near Shimla Road, as was their routine. However, upon checking in the morning, all four wheels were missing, and the car was resting on stones and bricks. This incident, occurring near a main road, has sparked outrage and panic among local residents and vehicle owners. Upon receiving information about the incident, a police team arrived at the scene to assess the situation and has initiated an investigation. Locals state that there is an urgent need to increase night patrols in the city, as the emboldened thieves have now become a major threat to public property.
