इस्कॉन चंडीगढ़ के कुशल दिशा-निर्देशन में पाँवटा साहिब द्वारा आगामी 16 जुलाई 2026 को आयोजित होने वाली “द्वितीय विशाल श्री जगन्नाथ रथ यात्रा” की तैयारियों को लेकर रविवार, को ‘राधे गोविंदम रेस्टोरेंट’ में एक महत्वपूर्ण बैठक का आयोजन किया गया। इस बैठक में आगामी रथ यात्रा को अत्यधिक भव्य और ऐतिहासिक बनाने की रूपरेखा पर विस्तृत चर्चा की गई। सर्वसम्मति से निर्णय लिया गया कि प्रथम वर्ष की भांति इस वर्ष भी भगवान जगन्नाथ, भ्राता बलभद्र और बहन सुभद्रा जी का दिव्य रथ बद्रीपुर शिव मंदिर से प्रस्थान करेगा। इसके पश्चात यह भव्य रथ यात्रा मुख्य बाजार से होते हुए ऐतिहासिक देईजी साहिब राम मंदिर तक पहुंचेगी। बैठक में नगर और रथ की भव्य सजावट को लेकर विशेष रणनीति बनाई गई। भगवान जगन्नाथ, बलभद्र जी और माता सुभद्रा जी के स्वागत के लिए बद्रीपुर शिव मंदिर में भव्य मंचों का निर्माण होगा, यात्रा मार्ग में जगह-जगह पर भगवान जी को श्रद्धापूर्वक ’56 भोग’ अर्पित किए जाएंगे तथा श्रद्धालुओं के लिए व्यापक स्तर पर ‘महाप्रसादम’ के वितरण की व्यवस्था होगी, संपूर्ण यात्रा मार्ग को आकर्षक रंगोलियों और सुंदर तोरण द्वारों से सजाया जाएगा एवं भक्तों के बीच असीम उत्साह का संचार करने के लिए पूरी यात्रा के दौरान निरंतर अलौकिक ‘हरिनाम महासंकीर्तन’ का आयोजन किया जाएगा। इस विशेष बैठक की अध्यक्षता इस्कॉन चंडीगढ़ से पधारे परम श्रद्धेय हिज ग्रेस (HG) तीर्थराज प्रभु जी ने की। तीर्थराज प्रभु जी ने अपने जीवनकाल में अनेकानेक भव्य रथ यात्राओं का सफल संचालन किया है। उन्होंने अपने उन पावन और दीर्घकालिक अनुभवों को पाँवटा साहिब के भक्तों के साथ साझा किया तथा यात्रा को सुव्यवस्थित ढंग से संपन्न कराने के बहुमूल्य सूत्र बताए।बैठक में इस्कॉन पाँवटा साहिब की Festival Committee के मुख्य पदाधिकारी डॉ. चंदेल, देवेंद्र शर्मा , और सुशील कपूर, कपिल तायल एवं मोहिनी मुख्य रूप से उपस्थित रहे साथ इस्कॉन पांवटा साहिब के सभी भक्त भी सम्मिलित थे, इनके साथ ही नगर के अन्य गणमान्य भक्तगण भी इस बैठक में सम्मिलित हुए और सभी ने इस महोत्सव को पूर्ण निष्ठा और हर्षोल्लास के साथ सफल बनाने का संकल्प लिया।

2nd Grand Sri Jagannath Rath Yatra to be held in Paonta Sahib on July 16…

An important meeting was held on Sunday at ‘Radhe Govindam Restaurant’ to discuss preparations for the “2nd Grand Sri Jagannath Rath Yatra,” scheduled for July 16, 2026, in Paonta Sahib under the expert guidance of ISKCON Chandigarh. Detailed discussions took place regarding the roadmap to make the upcoming Rath Yatra truly grand and historic. It was unanimously decided that, just like the inaugural year, the divine chariot carrying Lord Jagannath, His brother Balabhadra, and sister Subhadra would depart from the Badripur Shiva Temple this year as well. Subsequently, this grand procession will pass through the main market and reach the historic Dei-ji Sahib Ram Temple. A special strategy was formulated during the meeting regarding the magnificent decoration of the town and the chariot. Grand stages will be erected at the Badripur Shiva Temple to welcome Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, and Mother Subhadra; the ’56 Bhog’ (56 food offerings) will be reverently offered to the Deities at various points along the route; and arrangements will be made for the large-scale distribution of ‘Mahaprasadam’ to the devotees. The entire route will be adorned with attractive Rangolis and beautiful ceremonial arches (Toran Dwars), while the divine ‘Harinam Mahasankirtan’ will be performed continuously throughout the procession to infuse the devotees with immense enthusiasm. This special meeting was presided over by the highly revered His Grace (HG) Tirtharaj Prabhu ji from ISKCON Chandigarh. Tirtharaj Prabhu ji has successfully organized numerous grand Rath Yatras throughout his life. He shared his cherished and long-standing experiences with the devotees of Paonta Sahib and offered valuable insights on how to organize the procession in a well-structured manner. Key office-bearers of the ISKCON Paonta Sahib Festival Committee—including Dr. Chandel, Devendra Sharma, Sushil Kapoor, Kapil Tayal, and Mohini—were present, alongside the local devotee community and other distinguished devotees from the town; together, they pledged to make the festival a success with utmost dedication and great enthusiasm.
