हिमाचल प्रदेश में चिट्टा तस्करी में पूरा परिवार ही गिरफ्तार किया गया है। मंडी जिले के सुंदरनगर थाने के तहत रविवार सुबह पांच बजे कांगू में पुलिस ने चार आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार किया। पुलिस ने नाकाबंदी के दौरान चंडीगढ़ की नंबर की कार की तलाशी के दौरान 6.650 ग्राम चिट्टा (हेरोइन) बरामद की है। आरोपी कार में सवार थे। आरोपियों में मां, बेटा, बहू और बेटी शामिल हैं।जानकारी के अनुसार, आरोपियों की पहचान गौरव निवासी सलापड़ कॉलोनी सुंदरनगर, सरला निवासी सलापड़ कॉलोनी सुंदरनगर, रिशु निवासी खरड़ (चंडीगढ़) तथा ज्योति निवासी सलापड़ कॉलोनी सुंदरनगर के रूप में हुई हैं। प्रारंभिक जांच में पता चला है कि यह सभी आरोपी एक ही परिवार के है। आरोपी लड़के पर पहले भी कई मामले चले हुए हैं। साथ ही यह भी पता लगाया जा रहा है कि बरामद चिट्टा कहां से लाया गया था और इसे किस उद्देश्य से ले जाया जा रहा था। डीएसपी सुंदरनगर भारतभूषण ने मामले की पुष्टि करते हुए बताया कि आरोपियों से पूछताछ जारी है तथा जांच के आधार पर आगामी कार्रवाई अमल में लाई जाएगी।

An entire family has been arrested for ‘Chitta’ (synthetic drug/heroin) smuggling in Himachal Pradesh. Police arrested four accused individuals at Kangu—under the jurisdiction of the Sundernagar police station in Mandi district—at 5:00 AM on Sunday. During a vehicle check, police recovered 6.650 grams of ‘Chitta’ from a car bearing a Chandigarh registration number. The accused were traveling in the vehicle; the group included a mother, her son, her daughter-in-law, and her daughter. According to reports, the accused have been identified as Gaurav (resident of Salapar Colony, Sundernagar), Sarla (resident of Salapar Colony, Sundernagar), Rishu (resident of Kharar, Chandigarh), and Jyoti (resident of Salapar Colony, Sundernagar).Preliminary investigations revealed that all the accused belong to the same family. The male accused has a history of facing multiple legal cases. Authorities are also investigating the source of the seized contraband and the intended purpose of its transport. Confirming the incident, Sundernagar DSP Bharat Bhushan stated that interrogation of the accused is underway and further action will be taken based on the investigation’s findings.
