जिला सिरमौर के पुलिस थाना पुरुवाला की टीम ने गश्त के दौरान मिली गुप्त सूचना के आधार पर कार्रवाई करते हुए एक व्यक्ति के कब्जे से 4 लीटर अवैध शराब बरामद की है। पुलिस के अनुसार सूचना मिली थी कि अमर सिंह निवासी गांव डांडीवाला, डाकघर राजपुरा, तहसील पांवटा साहिब, सिंघपुरा के समीप खोडोवाला खाला स्थित मुर्गीदाना फैक्ट्री के पास अपनी परचून की दुकान में अवैध शराब रखकर बेचने का धंधा कर रहा है। सूचना के आधार पर पुलिस ने तत्काल छापेमारी की। तलाशी के दौरान आरोपी के कब्जे से 4 लीटर नाजायज शराब बरामद हुई। पुलिस ने शराब को कब्जे में लेकर आरोपी के खिलाफ पुलिस थाना पुरुवाला में आबकारी अधिनियम के तहत मामला दर्ज कर लिया है।
पुलिस ने बताया कि मामले की जांच जारी है तथा यह पता लगाया जा रहा है कि अवैध शराब कहां से लाई गई थी और इसे किस उद्देश्य से बेचा जा रहा था। पुलिस ने क्षेत्र में अवैध शराब के कारोबार पर सख्ती से कार्रवाई जारी रखने की बात कही है।

Acting on a tip-off received during patrol, a team from the Puruwala Police Station (Sirmaur district) seized 4 liters of illicit liquor from an individual’s possession. Police had received information that Amar Singh—a resident of Dandiwala village (Post Office Rajpura, Tehsil Paonta Sahib)—was running a business of selling illicit liquor from his grocery store located near the poultry feed factory at Khodowala Khala, close to Singhpura.
Based on this information, the police conducted an immediate raid. During the search, 4 liters of illicit liquor were recovered from the accused. The police seized the liquor and registered a case against the accused at the Puruwala Police Station under the Excise Act. Police stated that the investigation is ongoing to determine the source of the illicit liquor and the intended purpose of its sale. They affirmed that strict action against the illicit liquor trade in the area would continue.
