मोगीनंद के समीप आज उस समय हड़कंप मच गया और पूरे इलाके में सनसनी फैल गई, जब वहां एक अज्ञात व्यक्ति का शव बरामद हुआ। रास्ते से गुजरते लोगों ने जब शव को देखा तो तुरंत इसकी सूचना पुलिस को दी। सूचना मिलते ही कालाअंब पुलिस की टीम तुरंत मौके पर पहुंची और शव को अपने कब्जे में लेकर जांच शुरू की। पुलिस ने मुस्तैदी दिखाते हुए कुछ ही घंटों में इस शव की शिनाख्त करने में बड़ी सफलता हासिल की है। मृतक की पहचान 48 वर्षीय धनवीर सिंह ठाकुर, पुत्र धर्म सिंह के रूप में हुई है। वह तहसील पच्छाद के अंतर्गत आने वाले हापी (डाकघर जामन की सैर) के निवासी थे और पेशे से एक ट्रक ड्राइवर थे।

पुलिस ने तुरंत मृतक के परिवार वालों को इस दुखद घटना की सूचना दी, जिसके बाद रोते-बिलखते परिजन भी मौके पर पहुंच गए हैं। मामले की पुष्टि करते हुए एसपी सिरमौर निश्चित सिंह नेगी ने बताया कि पुलिस टीम ने शव की पहचान कर ली है। उन्होंने शुरुआती जांच के हवाले से बताया कि घटनास्थल के हालातों को देखकर ऐसा लग रहा है कि पैर फिसलने के कारण वह अनियंत्रित होकर अपने आप नीचे गिर गए, जिससे यह दर्दनाक हादसा हुआ। बहरहाल, मौत के असली और सटीक कारणों का साफ पता लगाने के लिए कालाअंब पुलिस द्वारा शव का पोस्टमार्टम करवाया जा रहा है। पुलिस इस पूरे मामले की गहनता से छानबीन कर रही है।

Panic ensued and a sensation spread across the entire area near Moginand today when the body of an unidentified individual was recovered from the spot. Passersby spotted the body and immediately alerted the police. Upon receiving the information, a team from the Kala Amb police station rushed to the scene, took custody of the body, and initiated an investigation. Displaying promptness and efficiency, the police achieved a major breakthrough within just a few hours by successfully identifying the deceased. The deceased has been identified as 48-year-old Dhanvir Singh Thakur, son of Dharam Singh. He was a resident of Hapi (under the Jamun ki Sair Post Office) in Tehsil Pachhad and worked as a truck driver by profession

The police immediately informed the deceased’s family members about this tragic incident, following which his grieving relatives, weeping inconsolably, arrived at the scene. Confirming the matter, SP Sirmaur Nishchit Singh Negi stated that the police team has successfully identified the body. Citing preliminary investigations, he noted that the circumstances observed at the crime scene suggest the deceased likely lost his footing and fell accidentally, leading to this tragic accident. Nevertheless, a post-mortem examination of the body is being conducted by the Kala Amb police to conclusively determine the exact cause of death. The police are currently conducting a thorough and in-depth investigation into the entire incident.
