जिला सिरमौर में नशे के खिलाफ चलाए जा रहे अभियान के तहत थाना रेणुका जी पुलिस ने बड़ी कार्रवाई करते हुए 6.95 ग्राम चिट्टा/हेरोइन बरामद कर दो आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार किया है। पुलिस से मिली जानकारी के अनुसार, 6 मई 2026 को गश्त के दौरान पुलिस टीम को खदाल मंदिर मोड़ के पास गुप्त सूचना मिली कि एक कार (HP 63C 2969) में सवार दो व्यक्ति नाहन की ओर से चिट्टा लेकर रेणुका जी की तरफ आ रहे हैं। सूचना के आधार पर पुलिस ने नाहन-रेणुका जी सड़क पर नाकाबंदी कर उक्त कार को रोक लिया। पूछताछ में चालक ने अपना नाम रोहित परमार निवासी ददाहु तथा साथ बैठे व्यक्ति ने बलिन्द्र सिंह निवासी खेना बताया। कार की तलाशी के दौरान डैशबोर्ड में रखे सिगरेट के पैकेट से 6.95 ग्राम चिट्टा/हेरोइन बरामद हुआ। पुलिस ने दोनों आरोपियों को मौके पर ही गिरफ्तार कर लिया। इस संबंध में थाना रेणुका जी में आरोपियों के खिलाफ एनडीपीएस एक्ट की धारा 21 और 29 के तहत मामला दर्ज किया गया है। पुलिस आरोपियों से पूछताछ कर यह पता लगाने में जुटी है कि नशे की यह खेप कहां से लाई गई थी और इसे किन लोगों तक पहुंचाया जाना था। पुलिस ने स्पष्ट किया है कि जिले में नशा तस्करों के खिलाफ अभियान आगे भी इसी तरह जारी रहेगा।

‘Chitta’ Recovered from Car During Checkpoint Operation in Renuka Ji; Two Accused Arrested

As part of the ongoing campaign against narcotics in District Sirmour, the Renuka Ji Police Station has taken significant action, recovering 6.95 grams of ‘Chitta’ (heroin) and arresting two accused individuals. According to information received from the police, on May 6, 2026, while on patrol near the Khadal Temple turn, the police team received a confidential tip-off. The information indicated that two individuals traveling in a car (HP 63C 2969) were heading towards Renuka Ji from the direction of Nahan, transporting ‘Chitta’ with them. Acting on this intelligence, the police set up a roadblock on the Nahan-Renuka Ji road and intercepted the said vehicle. During questioning, the driver identified himself as Rohit Parmar, a resident of Dadahu, while the passenger identified himself as Balinder Singh, a resident of Khena. During a search of the car, 6.95 grams of ‘Chitta’ (heroin) was recovered from a cigarette packet kept in the dashboard. The police arrested both accused individuals on the spot. In connection with this incident, a case has been registered against the accused at the Renuka Ji Police Station under Sections 21 and 29 of the NDPS Act. The police are currently interrogating the accused to ascertain the source of this narcotics consignment and the intended recipients. The police have clarified that the campaign against drug traffickers in the district will continue with the same intensity in the future.
