भारतीय जनता पार्टी के वरिष्ठ नेता बलदेव तोमर ने नारी शक्ति वंदन अधिनियम को लेकर कांग्रेस और इंडी गठबंधन पर तीखा प्रहार करते हुए कहा कि यह सिर्फ एक विधेयक नहीं, बल्कि भाजपा की मूल विचारधारा और प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के महिला सशक्तिकरण के संकल्प का प्रतीक है। उन्होंने कहा कि मोदी सरकार ने महिलाओं को केवल योजनाओं का लाभार्थी नहीं, बल्कि देश के विकास की अग्रिम पंक्ति में खड़ा किया है। बलदेव तोमर ने कहा कि आज जो महिलाएं हर क्षेत्र में नेतृत्व करती दिखाई दे रही हैं, वह भाजपा सरकार की दूरदर्शी नीतियों का परिणाम है। स्वच्छता अभियान से लेकर उज्ज्वला योजना तक, हर पहल में महिलाओं की गरिमा, स्वास्थ्य और आत्मनिर्भरता को केंद्र में रखा गया है। उन्होंने कहा कि पहले जिन मुद्दों को नजरअंदाज किया जाता था, आज वही राष्ट्रीय प्राथमिकता बन चुके हैं। उन्होंने कांग्रेस पर हमला बोलते हुए कहा कि 50 वर्षों तक महिला आरक्षण की बात करने वाली पार्टी ने कभी इसे लागू करने का साहस नहीं दिखाया। जब भाजपा सरकार ने इसे वास्तविक रूप देने का प्रयास किया, तब विपक्ष ने राजनीतिक स्वार्थ के चलते इस ऐतिहासिक पहल को बाधित करने का काम किया। यह महिलाओं के अधिकारों के साथ सीधा विश्वासघात है।

तोमर ने कहा कि भाजपा ने अपने संगठन में भी महिलाओं को सम्मानजनक भागीदारी दी है, जबकि कांग्रेस आज भी परिवारवाद और सीमित अवसरों की राजनीति में उलझी हुई है। भाजपा में महिलाओं को योग्यता के आधार पर आगे बढ़ने का अवसर मिलता है, जो आज स्पष्ट रूप से दिखाई भी दे रहा है। उन्होंने विपक्ष पर कटाक्ष करते हुए कहा कि जो लोग महिलाओं के नाम पर नारे लगाते हैं, वे वास्तविक अधिकार देने के समय पीछे हट जाते हैं। यह दोहरा चरित्र अब देश की महिलाएं भली-भांति समझ चुकी हैं। बलदेव तोमर ने कहा कि देश की नारी अब जागरूक और सशक्त है, वह अपने अधिकारों के साथ किसी प्रकार का समझौता नहीं करेगी। आने वाले समय में महिलाएं इस विषय पर अपना स्पष्ट मत देंगी और उन ताकतों को जवाब देंगी, जिन्होंने वर्षों तक उनके अधिकारों को रोके रखा। अंत में उन्होंने कहा कि एक ओर प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के नेतृत्व में भाजपा है, जो महिलाओं को सशक्त बनाने के लिए ठोस कदम उठा रही है, वहीं दूसरी ओर कांग्रेस और उसके सहयोगी दल हैं, जो केवल राजनीतिक लाभ के लिए महिलाओं के मुद्दों का इस्तेमाल करते हैं। देश की जनता इस अंतर को समझती है और समय आने पर इसका उचित जवाब देगी।

Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Baldev Tomar launched a scathing attack on the Congress and the ‘INDIA’ alliance regarding the Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam (Women’s Reservation Bill), stating that this is not merely a legislative bill, but a symbol of the BJP’s core ideology and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s unwavering commitment to women’s empowerment. He asserted that the Modi government has positioned women not merely as beneficiaries of various schemes, but at the very forefront of the nation’s development. Baldev Tomar remarked that the sight of women leading in every sector today is a direct result of the BJP government’s visionary policies. From the Swachhata Abhiyan (Cleanliness Campaign) to the Ujjwala Yojana, every initiative has placed women’s dignity, health, and self-reliance at its very core. He added that issues which were previously ignored have now become national priorities. Attacking the Congress, he stated that a party which has spoken about women’s reservation for 50 years never demonstrated the courage to actually implement it. When the BJP government endeavored to give concrete shape to this initiative, the opposition—driven by political self-interest—actively worked to obstruct this historic move. This constitutes a direct betrayal of women’s rights.

Tomar further noted that the BJP has ensured dignified participation for women within its own organizational structure, whereas the Congress remains entangled in the politics of dynasticism and limited opportunities. In the BJP, women are given the opportunity to advance based on merit—a reality that is clearly visible today. Taking a jibe at the opposition, he remarked that those who merely chant slogans in the name of women tend to backpedal when it comes to actually granting them their rights. The women of the country have now clearly seen through this duplicitous character. Baldev Tomar concluded by stating that the women of the nation are now awakened and empowered; they will not compromise on their rights in any way. In the times to come, women will express their unequivocal verdict on this matter and hold accountable those forces that have withheld their rights for years. In conclusion, he stated that on one hand stands the BJP—under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi—which is taking concrete steps to empower women; while on the other stand the Congress and its allies, who merely exploit women’s issues for political gain.
