सड़क किनारे खड़ी स्कूटी को तेज रफ्तार बाइक ने मारी टक्कर: दो घायल

पांवटा साहिब में तेज रफ्तारी एक बार फिर सड़क हादसे का कारण बनी। राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग पर हुए एक हादसे में दो युवक घायल हो गए। दुर्घटना के बाद मौके पर अफरा-तफरी का माहौल बन गया था ! पुलिस से मिली जानकारी के अनुसार देवास पुत्र दीपक वर्मा निवासी वार्ड नंबर-10, देवीनगर पांवटा साहिब अपनी एक्टिवा स्कूटी पर घूमने निकला था। जब वह बवेजा पेट्रोल पंप से आगे टोल बैरियर के पास राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग पर पहुंचा तो अचानक उसकी आंख में कुछ चला गया। इसके बाद उसने स्कूटी सड़क किनारे खड़ी कर आंख साफ करनी शुरू कर दी। इसी दौरान पीछे से तेज रफ्तार में आ रही मोटरसाइकिल ने स्कूटी को जोरदार टक्कर मार दी। टक्कर इतनी जबरदस्त थी कि दोनों चालक सड़क पर गिरकर घायल हो गए। हादसे में बाइक चालक अब्दुल सत्तार निवासी किरतपुर, पुरुवाला भी घायल हुआ है। स्थानीय लोगों की मदद से दोनों घायलों को उपचार के लिए अस्पताल पहुंचाया गया। प्रारंभिक जांच में बाइक चालक की तेज रफ्तारी और लापरवाही सामने आई है। पुलिस थाना पांवटा साहिब में मामला दर्ज कर आगामी कार्रवाई अमल में लाई जा रही है।

In Paonta Sahib, excessive speed has once again been the cause of a road accident. Two youths sustained injuries in a mishap that occurred on the National Highway. Following the accident, an atmosphere of chaos prevailed at the scene. According to information received from the police, Dewas—son of Deepak Verma and a resident of Ward No. 10, Devinagar, Paonta Sahib—had gone out for a ride on his Activa scooter. As he reached the National Highway near the toll barrier, just past the Baweja Petrol Pump, something suddenly got into his eye. Consequently, he pulled his scooter over to the roadside and began trying to clear his eye. At that very moment, a motorcycle approaching from behind at high speed slammed violently into the scooter. The impact was so severe that both riders were thrown onto the road and sustained injuries. The motorcycle rider, Abdul Sattar—a resident of Kiratpur, Puruwala—was also injured in the accident. With the assistance of local residents, both injured individuals were rushed to a hospital for medical treatment. Preliminary investigations have revealed that the motorcycle rider’s excessive speed and negligence were the primary causes of the incident. A case has been registered at the Paonta Sahib Police Station, and further legal action is currently underway.
