पुलिस थाना पुरुवाला की टीम ने गश्त के दौरान अवैध शराब के खिलाफ कार्रवाई करते हुए एक व्यक्ति को गिरफ्तार किया है। जानकारी के अनुसार, 16 अप्रैल 2026 की शाम को पुलिस टीम श्यामपुर गोरखुवाला क्षेत्र में गश्त पर थी। इसी दौरान आरोपी मुकेश कुमार, निवासी वार्ड नंबर 4 खोडोवाला श्यामपुर, तहसील पांवटा साहिब, जिला सिरमौर के कब्जे से 5 लीटर अवैध शराब बरामद की गई। पुलिस ने आरोपी के खिलाफ हिमाचल प्रदेश आबकारी अधिनियम की धारा 39(1)(a) के तहत मामला दर्ज कर लिया है। मामले की जांच जारी है।

A team from the Puruwala Police Station has arrested an individual while conducting an operation against illicit liquor during a routine patrol. According to reports, on the evening of April 16, 2026, the police team was on patrol in the Shyampur Gorkhuwala area. During this patrol, 5 liters of illicit liquor were recovered from the possession of the accused, Mukesh Kumar—a resident of Ward No. 4, Khodowala, Shyampur, Tehsil Paonta Sahib, District Sirmour. The police have registered a case against the accused under Section 39(1)(a) of the Himachal Pradesh Excise Act. An investigation into the matter is currently underway.
