जिला सिरमौर के पांवटा साहिब उपमंडल के कोलर गांव के समीप स्थित करौंदा घाटी के जंगल में एक अज्ञात महिला का बुरी तरह जला हुआ शव मिलने से पूरे इलाके में हड़कंप मच गया है। शव लगभग 95 प्रतिशत तक जला हुआ बताया जा रहा है, जिसके कारण मृतका की पहचान अब तक नहीं हो सकी है। मिली जानकारी के अनुसार स्थानीय व्यक्ति द्वारा जंगल में आग जलने की सूचना पुलिस को दी गई थी। सूचना मिलते ही पुलिस टीम तुरंत मौके पर पहुंची। जांच के दौरान पुलिस ने देखा कि आग के बीच एक शव मौजूद था, जो पूरी तरह झुलसा हुआ था। प्रारंभिक जांच में पुलिस ने शव के महिला का होने की आशंका जताई है, लेकिन हालत बेहद खराब होने के चलते उम्र और अन्य पहचान से जुड़ी जानकारी सामने नहीं आ पाई है। घटना की गंभीरता को देखते हुए डीएसपी पांवटा साहिब मानवेंद्र ठाकुर और माजरा थाना प्रभारी कुलदीप सिंह पुलिस बल के साथ मौके पर पहुंचे और क्षेत्र को घेरकर जांच शुरू कर दी गई है। वहीं, साक्ष्य जुटाने के लिए शिमला के जूंगा से फोरेंसिक टीम को भी बुलाया गया है, जो घटनास्थल का बारीकी से निरीक्षण करेगी। पुलिस को शक है कि महिला को कहीं और से यहां लाकर शव को जलाने की कोशिश की गई है। हालांकि, यह स्पष्ट नहीं हो पाया है कि हत्या घटनास्थल पर हुई या कहीं और पुलिस ने आसपास के इलाकों में लापता महिलाओं के बारे में जानकारी जुटानी शुरू कर दी है, लेकिन अब तक कोई ठोस सुराग हाथ नहीं लगा है। अन्य राज्यों की पुलिस को भी सतर्क कर दिया गया है। फिलहाल पुलिस हर एंगल से जांच में जुटी है और फोरेंसिक रिपोर्ट के बाद ही इस सनसनीखेज मामले में बड़े खुलासे होने की उम्मीद जताई जा रही है।

Panic has gripped the entire region following the discovery of the badly burnt body of an unidentified woman in the forest of the Karaunda Valley, located near Kolar village in the Paonta Sahib subdivision of Sirmaur district. The body is reported to be approximately 95 percent burnt, making it impossible to identify the deceased so far. According to reports, a local resident alerted the police after noticing a fire burning in the forest. Acting immediately upon receiving this information, a police team rushed to the scene. During their investigation, the police discovered a body amidst the flames, which was completely charred. Preliminary investigations suggest that the body is that of a woman; however, due to its severely damaged condition, details regarding her age and other identifying features remain unknown. Given the gravity of the incident, DSP Paonta Sahib, Manvendra Thakur, and the SHO of Majra Police Station, Kuldeep Singh—accompanied by a police force—arrived at the scene, cordoned off the area, and initiated an investigation. Meanwhile, a forensic team from Junga, Shimla, has been summoned to collect evidence and will conduct a meticulous examination of the crime scene. The police suspect that the woman was brought to this location from elsewhere in an attempt to dispose of her body by burning it. However, it remains unclear whether the murder took place at the crime scene or at a different location. The police have begun gathering information regarding missing women in the surrounding areas, but no concrete leads have surfaced so far. Police forces in neighboring states have also been put on alert. Currently, the police are investigating the case from every possible angle, and significant revelations regarding this sensational incident are expected once the forensic report is received.
