पांवटा के गिरिपार क्षेत्र से कांग्रेस के लिए एक और बड़ा झटका सामने आया है। गोजर पंचायत में 38 परिवारों के 128 मतदाताओं ने कांग्रेस को छोड़कर भारतीय जनता पार्टी का दामन थाम लिया। क्षेत्र की खस्ताहाल सड़कों और तीन साल से ठप विकास कार्यों से नाराज़ जनता ने आज साफ संदेश दे दिया कि अब विकासहीन राजनीति नहीं चलेगी। गोजर पंचायत के लोगों ने मीडिया से बातचीत में बताया कि कांग्रेस शासन के तीन सालों में इलाके की हालत बद से बदतर हो गई है। सड़कों पर बने खतरनाक गड्ढे आए दिन हादसों को न्योता दे रहे हैं, बच्चों से लेकर बुजुर्ग तक फिसलकर घायल हो रहे हैं, लेकिन शिकायतों के बावजूद न जिला प्रशासन सुन रहा है और न ही सरकार के नेता।

स्थानीय लोगों का कहना है कि कई बार धरने-प्रदर्शन और ज्ञापन देने के बाद भी सड़क मरम्मत तक नहीं करवाई गई, जिससे मजबूर होकर उन्होंने कांग्रेस को “अलविदा” कहने का फैसला लिया। इस मौके पर पहुंचे पूर्व मंत्री एवं विधायक सुखराम चौधरी ने सभी नए कार्यकर्ताओं का गर्मजोशी से स्वागत किया और उन्हें भाजपा का पटका पहनाकर पार्टी में शामिल किया। उन्होंने कहा गिरिपार की जनता अब ठगी नहीं खाएगी। कांग्रेस सरकार ने तीन साल में शून्य विकास किया है। सड़कें टूट गईं, पेयजल योजनाएं ठप हैं और किसान परेशान हैं। भाजपा ही वह पार्टी है जो जनता की आवाज़ बनकर खड़ी है और विकास को धरातल पर उतारती है। सुखराम चौधरी ने आश्वासन दिया कि भाजपा में शामिल हुए हर परिवार को सम्मान दिया जाएगा और गोजर पंचायत में सड़क मरम्मत सहित सभी विकास कार्य तुरंत प्राथमिकता से करवाए जाएंगे।

गिरिपार आंज–भोज मंडल अध्यक्ष रमेश तोमर ने भी भाजपा में शामिल होने वाले सभी कार्यकर्ताओं को पूरा आश्वासन दिया। उन्होंने कहा कि पार्टी प्रत्येक कार्यकर्ता का सम्मान करती है और नए सदस्यों को संगठन में मजबूत भूमिका दी जाएगी। रमेश तोमर ने कहा जो भी लोग आज भाजपा परिवार में आए हैं, वे निश्चिंत रहें। उनके सभी विकास संबंधी मुद्दों को प्राथमिकता के साथ आगे बढ़ाया जाएगा। भाजपा ही एकमात्र पार्टी है जो कार्यकर्ताओं के दम पर चलती है, न कि नेताओं के अहंकार पर। इस दौरान राम गोपाल, राजू, गुलाब सिंह, दीप चन्द, शंकर सिंह, संत राम, गोरी प्रसाद, जयप्रकाश, उदल सिंह, मलखान, संजय सिंह, गोविन्द, रविन्द्र, श्रवण कुमार, अमर सिंह, मेहन्दर सिंह, सुमेर, मैना देवी, शमशेर, अनिल, सुनील, रणजीत, शिवनाथ, रघुनाथ, फूल देवी, माया राम, कमल, सुरेश, रामनाथ, ओमबीर (फौजी), नरेश, राकेश, जयपाल, प्रकाश, बलजीत, राकेश, सूबेदार रामप्रसाद आदि भाजपा में शामिल हुए।

Another major setback has hit the Congress party in the Giri Par area of Paonta Sahib. In Gojar Panchayat, 128 voters from 38 families have left the Congress and joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Angry over the dilapidated roads and stalled development work for the past three years, the people of the area have sent a clear message today that politics without development will no longer be tolerated. Speaking to the media, the residents of Gojar Panchayat said that the condition of the area has worsened during the three years of Congress rule. Dangerous potholes on the roads are causing accidents daily, with people of all ages, from children to the elderly, getting injured after slipping and falling. Despite repeated complaints, neither the district administration nor the government leaders are paying any attention.

Local residents say that despite numerous protests and submitting memorandums, the road repairs were not carried out, forcing them to decide to say “goodbye” to the Congress party. Former minister and MLA Sukhram Chaudhary, who was present on the occasion, warmly welcomed all the new members and inducted them into the BJP by presenting them with the party’s scarf. He said that the people of Giripar would no longer be deceived. The Congress government has achieved zero development in three years. Roads are in disrepair, water supply schemes are stalled, and farmers are suffering. The BJP is the only party that stands with the people and delivers development on the ground. Sukhram Chaudhary assured that every family that has joined the BJP will be given due respect, and all development works in Gojar Panchayat, including road repairs, will be carried out immediately on a priority basis.

Giripar Anj-Bhoj Mandal President Ramesh Tomar also gave full assurance to all the workers who joined the BJP. He said that the party respects every worker and new members will be given strong roles in the organization. Ramesh Tomar said that all those who have joined the BJP family today should rest assured. All their development-related issues will be addressed on a priority basis. The BJP is the only party that runs on the strength of its workers, not on the ego of its leaders.
