जिला सिरमौर के पांवटा साहिब के कोटड़ी व्यास पंचायत के लिए गर्व और हर्ष के पल है क्योंकि यहां के तीन होनहार खिलाड़ी रूबी, गगन और करण का चयन राष्ट्रीय सीनियर रग्बी चैंपियनशि के लिए हुआ है। यह प्रतिष्ठित प्रतियोगिता 16 से 21 अप्रैल 2026 तक राजगीर, पटना बिहार में इंडियन फुटबॉल रग्बी यूनियन द्वारा आयोजित की जा रही है। तीनों खिलाड़ी इस प्रतियोगिता में हिमाचल प्रदेश का प्रतिनिधित्व करेंगे। वर्तमान में ये खिलाड़ी राष्ट्रीय प्रशिक्षण शिविर पांवटा साहिब में कोच सुधीर,नवप्रीत एवं डी. चौधरी के मार्गदर्शन में कड़ा परिश्रम कर रहे हैं। इनके चयन से न केवल कोटड़ी व्यास, बल्कि पूरे पांवटा दून क्षेत्र, विद्यालय एवं सिरमौर जिला में खुशी की लहर है। खिलाड़ियों के परिवार और गांव में उत्सव का माहौल है। इनके परिवार, व पंचायत एवं समस्त क्षेत्रवासी ने इन खिलाड़ियों को हार्दिक बधाई एवं उज्ज्वल भविष्य की शुभकामनाएं दी। इनके कोच धर्मेंद्र चौधरी ने राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर सेलेक्ट होने पर इन खिलाड़ियों को बधाई दी है।

It is a moment of pride and joy for Kotdi Vyas Panchayat in Paonta Sahib, District Sirmaur, as three talented players—Ruby, Gagan, and Karan—have been selected for the National Senior Rugby Championship.

This prestigious tournament will be held from April 16 to 21, 2026, in Rajgir, organized by the Indian Football Rugby Union. All three players will represent Himachal Pradesh in the competition.

Currently, the players are undergoing rigorous training at a national camp in Paonta Sahib under the guidance of coaches Sudhir, Navpreet, and D. Chaudhary.

Their selection has brought immense happiness not only to Kotdi Vyas but also to the entire Paonta Doon region, their school, and District Sirmaur. A celebratory atmosphere prevails among their families and villagers. Family members, the Panchayat, and local residents have extended heartfelt congratulations and best wishes for their bright future.

Coach Dharmendra Chaudhary also congratulated the players on their selection at the national level.
