सिरमौर जिले के नाहन क्षेत्र के अंतर्गत आती ग्राम पंचायत बनकला में इस वर्ष भी बैसाखी का पावन पर्व बड़े धूमधाम और पारंपरिक श्रद्धा के साथ मनाया जा रहा है। ग्राम पंचायत बनकला के ऐतिहासिक महर्षि मार्कण्डेश्वर महादेव ढिमकी मंदिर में आयोजित होने वाला यह तीन दिवसीय बैसाखी मेला न केवल धार्मिक आस्था का केंद्र है, बल्कि यह स्थानीय संस्कृति और खेल प्रतिभाओं को भी एक बड़ा मंच प्रदान करता है।

मेले का विधिवत शुभारंभ 13 अप्रैल, सोमवार को सुबह 9:00 बजे एक भव्य शोभा यात्रा के साथ होगा। यह यात्रा बोहलियों मंदिर से शुरू होकर ढिमकी स्थित महर्षि मार्कण्डेश्वर महादेव मंदिर तक पहुंचेगी, जिसमें भारी संख्या में स्थानीय श्रद्धालुओं के जुटने की संभावना है। इसी दिन शाम को मंदिर परिसर में विशाल भंडारे का आयोजन किया जाएगा, जहाँ भक्तजन प्रसाद ग्रहण करेंगे।

मेले का मुख्य आकर्षण 14 अप्रैल, मंगलवार को रहेगा। दिन की शुरुआत सुबह 7:00 बजे वैदिक मंत्रोच्चारण के साथ हवन-पूजन से होगी, जिसके बाद 10:00 बजे झंडा पूजन की रस्म अदा की जाएगी। दोपहर 12:00 बजे से आम जनता के लिए विशेष भंडारा शुरू होगा।

दोपहर बाद 4:00 बजे से उत्तर भारत की प्रसिद्ध ‘दंगल’ (कुश्ती) प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया जाएगा। इस दंगल में हिमाचल, हरियाणा और पंजाब के नामी पहलवान अपनी कला का प्रदर्शन करेंगे। शाम को संध्या आरती के बाद रात्रि 8:00 बजे से सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम शुरू होंगे, जिसका मूल मंत्र “हर प्रतिभा को मंच” रखा गया है, ताकि स्थानीय कलाकारों को अपनी कला दिखाने का अवसर मिल सके।

मेले की श्रृंखला में 16 अप्रैल, गुरुवार को बाबा मस्तगीरी जी का वार्षिक भंडारा आयोजित किया जाएगा। यह भंडारा सुबह 11:00 बजे से शुरू होगा, जो इस तीन दिवसीय उत्सव का अंतिम औपचारिक कार्यक्रम होगा। मंदिर समिति ने क्षेत्र के समस्त निवासियों से आग्रह किया है कि वे सपरिवार इस मेले में पहुँचकर महादेव का आशीर्वाद लें और कार्यक्रमों की शोभा बढ़ाएं।

The sacred festival of Baisakhi will once again be celebrated with great enthusiasm and traditional devotion this year in Gram Panchayat Bankala, located in the Nahan area of Sirmaur district. The three-day Baisakhi fair आयोजित at the historic Maharishi Markandeshwar Mahadev Dhimki Temple is not only a center of religious faith but also provides a significant platform for local culture and sporting talent.

The fair will formally begin on Monday, April 13, at 9:00 AM with a grand procession. The procession will start from Bohliyon Temple and conclude at the Maharishi Markandeshwar Mahadev Temple in Dhimki, with a large number of devotees expected to participate. A grand community feast (Bhandara) will also be organized in the temple परिसर in the evening, where devotees will partake in prasad.

The main attractions of the fair will be held on Tuesday, April 14. The day will begin at 7:00 AM with Havan and पूजा accompanied by Vedic chanting, followed by the ritual of flag worship (Jhanda Pujan) at 10:00 AM. A special Bhandara for the general public will start at 12:00 noon.

From 4:00 PM onwards, a renowned North Indian wrestling competition (Dangal) will be आयोजित, featuring well-known wrestlers from Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, and Punjab showcasing their skills. As part of the fair, the annual Bhandara of Baba Mastgiri Ji will be held on Thursday, April 16, starting at 11:00 AM, marking the concluding formal event of the celebrations. The temple committee has appealed to all residents of the region to attend the fair with their families, seek the blessings of Lord Mahadev, and enhance the grandeur of the event.
