उत्तराखण्ड एसटीएफ ने “ऑपरेशन प्रहार” के तहत एक बड़ी आतंकी साजिश को समय रहते नाकाम करते हुए प्रेमनगर क्षेत्र से एक युवक को गिरफ्तार किया है। पकड़े गए आरोपी की पहचान झाझरा निवासी 29 वर्षीय विक्रांत कश्यप के रूप में हुई है, जिसके तार पाकिस्तान में बैठे आतंकी नेटवर्क से जुड़े पाए गए हैं।एसटीएफ की जांच में खुलासा हुआ है कि आरोपी सोशल मीडिया प्लेटफॉर्म इंस्टाग्राम और व्हाट्सएप के जरिए पाकिस्तानी हैंडलर शहजाद भट्टी के संपर्क में था और उसके निर्देशों पर कार्य कर रहा था। आरोपी देहरादून के महत्वपूर्ण सरकारी व सैन्य प्रतिष्ठानों की लोकेशन और वीडियो फुटेज पाकिस्तान भेज रहा था, जो सुरक्षा के लिहाज से बेहद गंभीर मामला है। प्रारंभिक जांच के अनुसार, आरोपी को आईएसबीटी, पुलिस मुख्यालय समेत कई संवेदनशील स्थानों की रेकी करने और जानकारी साझा करने के निर्देश मिले थे। इतना ही नहीं, उसे “तहरीक-ए-तालिबान-हिन्दुस्तान (TTH)” के नाम से शहर में दहशत फैलाने के लिए सार्वजनिक स्थानों पर स्प्रे पेंट से लिखने का काम भी सौंपा गया था, जिसे उसने अंजाम दिया।

पूछताछ में एक चौंकाने वाला पहलू भी सामने आया है। आरोपी ने बताया कि वह पंजाबी गायक Sidhu Moose Wala का प्रशंसक था और उनकी हत्या के बाद बदले की भावना से प्रभावित हुआ। इसी दौरान वह सोशल मीडिया के माध्यम से पाकिस्तानी नेटवर्क के संपर्क में आ गया। एसटीएफ के अनुसार आरोपी को दिल्ली में एक संगठन के कार्यकर्ताओं और सुप्रीम कोर्ट के एक अधिवक्ता पर हमला करने की जिम्मेदारी भी सौंपी गई थी।

इसके एवज में उसे नेपाल के रास्ते दुबई भेजकर बसाने और आर्थिक लाभ देने का लालच दिया गया था। गिरफ्तारी के दौरान पुलिस ने आरोपी के कब्जे से एक .32 बोर पिस्टल, सात जिंदा कारतूस, एक स्प्रे पेंट कैन और एक मोबाइल फोन बरामद किया है। मोबाइल से मिले डिजिटल साक्ष्यों के आधार पर अन्य सुरक्षा एजेंसियों के साथ मिलकर मामले की गहन जांच जारी है।एसटीएफ के वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधीक्षक Ajay Singh ने बताया कि प्रदेश में राष्ट्रविरोधी गतिविधियों पर कड़ी नजर रखी जा रही है और ऐसे तत्वों के खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाई आगे भी जारी रहेगी।

In a major breakthrough under “Operation Prahar,” the Uttarakhand Special Task Force (STF) has foiled a significant terror conspiracy by arresting a युवक from the Premnagar area. The accused has been identified as 29-year-old Vikrant Kashyap, a resident of Jhajra, whose links have been traced to a Pakistan-based terror network.

According to STF investigations, the आरोपी was in contact with a Pakistani handler, Shahzad Bhatti, through social media platforms like Instagram and WhatsApp, and was acting on his instructions. He was allegedly sending locations and video footage of important government and military establishments in Dehradun to Pakistan, posing a serious security threat.

Preliminary findings reveal that the आरोपी was instructed to conduct reconnaissance of sensitive locations including ISBT and the police headquarters, and share the information. Additionally, he was tasked with spreading fear in the city by writing “Tehreek-e-Taliban-Hindustan (TTH)” on public places using spray paint, which he carried out at multiple locations.

During interrogation, a shocking detail also emerged. The आरोपी stated that he was a fan of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala and was influenced by a sense of revenge after the singer’s murder. It was during this period that he came into contact with the Pakistani handler via social media.

The STF further revealed that the आरोपी had also been assigned the task of carrying out an attack on members of an organization and a Supreme Court advocate in Delhi. In return, he was promised relocation to Dubai via Nepal along with financial incentives.

At the time of arrest, police recovered a .32 bore pistol, seven live cartridges, a spray paint can, and a mobile phone from the आरोपी. Based on the digital evidence obtained from the phone, further investigation is underway in coordination with other security agencies.

Senior Superintendent of Police, STF, Ajay Singh, stated that strict surveillance is being maintained on anti-national elements in the state, and stringent action will continue against such activities.
