जनपद देहरादून में चलाए जा रहे “ऑपरेशन प्रहार” के तहत विकासनगर पुलिस ने एक सनसनीखेज मामले का खु*लासा करते हुए चार आ*रोपियों को गिरफ्तार किया है। आरोप है कि इन युवकों ने रात्रि चेकिंग के दौरान पुलिसकर्मी और एक स्थानीय व्यक्ति को कार से टक्कर मारकर घायल कर दिया और मौके से फरार हो गए।
घटना 07 अप्रैल 2026 की देर रात डाकपत्थर तिराहे के पास की है। पुलिस टीम द्वारा चेकिंग के दौरान हरबर्टपुर की ओर से आ रही हरियाणा नंबर की एक संदिग्ध कार को रुकने का संकेत दिया गया, लेकिन चालक ने वाहन नहीं रोका और तेज गति से फरार हो गया।
कुछ देर बाद धनवंतरी चौक के पास उक्त वाहन के खड़े होने और उसमें सवार युवकों द्वारा हंगामा किए जाने की सूचना मिली। मौके पर पहुंची पुलिस टीम ने जब पूछताछ का प्रयास किया, तो चालक ने वाहन को तेजी से बैक करते हुए सरकारी वाहन को टक्कर मार दी और ड्यूटी पर तैनात पुलिसकर्मी को कुचल दिया। इस दौरान एक स्थानीय व्यक्ति भी वाहन की चपेट में आकर घायल हो गया।
घटना के बाद आरोपी मौके से फरार हो गए। पुलिस ने तत्परता दिखाते हुए घायलों को तत्काल अस्पताल पहुंचाया और सभी चेकपोस्टों को अलर्ट किया। बाद में संदिग्ध कार बल्लीवाला फ्लाईओवर के पास दुर्घटनाग्रस्त अवस्था में बरामद हुई, जहां चालक घायल मिला। उसे उपचार के लिए सुभारती अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया।
पुलिस जांच में सामने आया कि कार में सवार अन्य आरोपी गली-मोहल्लों के रास्ते भाग निकले थे, जिन्हें बाद में पुलिस टीम ने दबोच लिया। सभी आरोपियों के मेडिकल परीक्षण में शराब के नशे की पुष्टि हुई है।
पुलिस ने मामले में कोतवाली विकासनगर में मुकदमा संख्या 107/2026 के तहत धारा 121(2), 132, 281, 109(1) बीएनएस में अभियोग पंजीकृत कर आगे की कार्रवाई शुरू कर दी है।
गिरफ्तार आरोपी:साहिल पुत्र आनन्द सिंह, निवासी टीचर कॉलोनी, डाकपत्थर,आयुष पुत्र मूसा मसीह, निवासी मार्टेंडेल, विकासनगर,अंशुल चौहान पुत्र दिलीप चौहान, निवासी जीवनगढ़,प्रियांशु पुत्र पूरन सिंह, निवासी कालसी क्षेत्र घायल चालक (अस्पताल में भर्ती):गौरव चौधरी, निवासी डाकपत्थर पुलिस का कहना है कि मामले में आगे की जांच जारी है और आरोपियों के खिलाफ सख्त कानूनी कार्रवाई की जाएगी।
Car Rams Into Police During Checking, 4 Accused Arrested; Major Action Under “Operation Prahar”**

Under the ongoing “Operation Prahar” in Dehradun district, Vikasnagar Police has exposed a sensational case and arrested four accused. The youths allegedly rammed their car into a पुलिसकर्मी (policeman) and a local person during a late-night checking operation, injuring both, and fled the scene.
The incident occurred late रात on April 7, 2026, near Dakpathar Tiraaha. During routine checking, the police signaled a suspicious Haryana-registered car approaching from Herbertpur to stop, but the driver ignored the signal and sped away.
Shortly after, information was received about the same vehicle being stopped near Dhanvantari Chowk, where the occupants were creating a disturbance. When the police team reached the spot and attempted to question them, the driver suddenly reversed the vehicle at high speed, crashing into a सरकारी वाहन (government vehicle) and running over a policeman on duty. A local person was also injured after being hit by the vehicle.
Following the incident, the accused fled the scene. Acting swiftly, the police rushed the injured to the hospital and alerted all checkpoints. Later, the suspect vehicle was found in a damaged condition near Balliwala Flyover, where the driver was found injured and admitted to Subharti Hospital for treatment.
Police investigation revealed that the other accused fled through nearby lanes but were later apprehended by the police team. Medical examination confirmed that all the accused were under the influence of alcohol.
A case has been registered at Kotwali Vikasnagar under FIR No. 107/2026, under sections 121(2), 132, 281, and 109(1) of the BNS, and further investigation is underway.

* Ayush (son of Moosa Masih), resident of Martendale, Vikasnagar
* Anshul Chauhan (son of Dileep Chauhan), resident of Jeevangarh
* Priyanshu (son of Puran Singh), resident of Kalsi area
**Injured Driver (Hospitalized):**
* Gaurav Chaudhary, resident of Dakpathar
Police stated that further investigation is ongoing and strict legal action will be taken against all accused.
