जिला सिरमौर पुलिस द्वारा नशे के सौदागरों के खिलाफ चलाए जा रहे विशेष अभियान के तहत माजरा थाना पुलिस को एक बड़ी सफलता हाथ लगी है। पुलिस ने गुप्त सूचना के आधार पर कार्रवाई करते हुए पुरुवाला कांशीपुर में दबिश देकर नशीले पदार्थों की खेप बरामद की है। पुलिस टीम ने गांव पुरुवाला कांशीपुर निवासी गुलशेर पुत्र अलाहुदीन (उम्र 56 वर्ष) के ठिकाने पर छापेमारी की। इस दौरान पुलिस ने आरोपी की जमीन से अफीम के 25 हरे पौधे बरामद किए गए और रिहायशी कमरे की तलाशी लेने पर अंदर से 1.106 किलोग्राम भुक्की बरामद हुई। एसपी सिरमौर निश्चित सिंह नेगी ने मामले की पुस्टि करते हुए बताया कि मादक पदार्थ और अफीम के पौधों को कब्जे में लेकर आरोपी के खिलाफ माजरा पुलिस थाना में एनडीपीएस एक्ट (NDPS Act) की धारा 15 और 18 के तहत मुकदमा दर्ज कर लिया है। पुलिस अब इस मामले की गहनता से जांच कर रही है ताकि यह पता लगाया जा सके कि आरोपी नशे की यह खेप कहाँ सप्लाई करने वाला था।

As part of the special campaign being launched by the Sirmaur district police against drug dealers, the Majra police station has achieved a major success. Acting on a tip-off, the police raided Puruwala Kanshipur and recovered a consignment of drugs. The police team raided the hideout of Gulsher, son of Alauddin (56 years old), a resident of Puruwala Kanshipur village. During the raid, police recovered 25 green opium plants from the accused’s land and a search of his residential room yielded 1.106 kg of poppy husk.

Sirmaur Superintendent of Police (SP) Nishchay Singh Negi confirmed the incident, stating that the drugs and opium plants were seized and a case was registered against the accused at the Majra police station under sections 15 and 18 of the NDPS Act. Police are now conducting a thorough investigation to determine where the accused intended to supply the drugs.
