सिरमौर में नशे पर पुलिस का डबल एक्शन: नाहन और पांवटा में दो आरोपी दबोचे, स्मैक बरामद…

जिला सिरमौर में नशे के खिलाफ चलाए जा रहे अभियान के तहत पुलिस को एक ही दिन में दो अलग-अलग स्थानों पर बड़ी सफलता हाथ लगी है। पुलिस थाना नाहन और पांवटा साहिब में मादक पदार्थ अधिनियम के तहत अलग-अलग अभियोग दर्ज किए गए हैं। प्राप्त जानकारी के अनुसार, जिला सिरमौर की डिटेक्शन टीम नाहन गश्त पर थी, तभी टीम को सूचना मिली कि आरटीओ कार्यालय के नीचे किराये के कमरे में एक व्यक्ति स्मैक/हेरोइन बेचने का अवैध धंधा कर रहा है। सूचना के आधार पर पुलिस ने त्वरित कार्रवाई करते हुए आरोपी के कमरे की तलाशी ली, जहां से 3.20 ग्राम स्मैक/हेरोइन बरामद की गई। आरोपी की पहचान अनिल कुमार पुत्र धनी राम निवासी बाल्मीकि बस्ती, नाहन के रूप में हुई है। पुलिस थाना नाहन में उसके खिलाफ एनडीपीएस एक्ट की धारा 21, 61 और 85 के तहत मामला दर्ज कर जांच शुरू कर दी गई है।

वहीं दूसरी ओर, पुलिस थाना पांवटा साहिब की टीम गश्त के दौरान गर्ल्स स्कूल के समीप मौजूद थी। इसी दौरान एक व्यक्ति पुलिस को देखकर भागने लगा, जिसे शक के आधार पर काबू किया गया। तलाशी के दौरान उसके कब्जे से 2.63 ग्राम स्मैक/हेरोइन बरामद हुई। आरोपी की पहचान राकेश कुमार उम्र 32 पुत्र तरसेम सिंह बाएंकुआं जामनीवाला पांवटा साहिब के रूप में हुई है। उसके खिलाफ भी एनडीपीएस एक्ट के तहत मामला दर्ज कर जांच की जा रही है। जिला सिरमौर पुलिस ने स्पष्ट किया है कि नशे के अवैध कारोबार के खिलाफ अभियान लगातार जारी रहेगा और इस प्रकार की गतिविधियों में संलिप्त व्यक्तियों के खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाई अमल में लाई जाएगी।

As part of the ongoing anti-drug campaign in Sirmaur district, police achieved major successes at two different locations in a single day. Separate cases were registered under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act at Nahan and Paonta Sahib police stations. According to information received, the detection team from Sirmaur district was on patrol in Nahan when they received information that a man was illegally selling smack and heroin in a rented room below the RTO office. Acting swiftly, the police searched the accused’s room and recovered 3.20 grams of smack and heroin. The accused has been identified as Anil Kumar, son of Dhani Ram, resident of Balmiki Basti, Nahan. A case has been registered against him at Nahan police station under sections 21, 61, and 85 of the NDPS Act, and an investigation has been initiated.

Meanwhile, a team from the Paonta Sahib police station was patrolling near a girls’ school. A man, seeing the police, ran away and was apprehended on suspicion. During a search, 2.63 grams of smack/heroin was recovered from his possession. The accused has been identified as Rakesh Kumar, 32, son of Tarsem Singh, Bayankuaan Jamnivala, Paonta Sahib. A case has been registered against him under the NDPS Act and an investigation is underway. The Sirmaur district police have clarified that the campaign against illegal drug trafficking will continue, and strict action will be taken against those involved in such activities.
