उपमंडल के देवी नगर (वार्ड नंबर 10) में उस वक्त हड़कंप मच गया जब करीब 10 से 15 हथियारबंद हमलावरों ने एक घर में घुसकर पूरे परिवार पर जानलेवा हमला कर दिया। इस पूरी वारदात का सबसे सनसनीखेज पहलू यह है कि हमलावरों की यह गुंडागर्दी और घर में घुसकर की गई तोड़फोड़ पास के सीसीटीवी कैमरों (CCTV) में भी कैद हो गई है। जानकारी के अनुसार, हमलावर डंडे, तलवारें और लोहे की रॉड से लैस होकर आए थे। इस हमले में न केवल पुरुषों बल्कि घर की महिलाओं को भी निशाना बनाया गया, जिससे पूरे इलाके में दहशत का माहौल है। पीड़ित जावेद अली (पुत्र स्वर्गीय खुर्शीद) के घर पर हुए इस हमले में हमलावरों ने जमकर तोड़फोड़ की। प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों के अनुसार, उपद्रवियों ने घर की खिड़कियों और वहां खड़े वाहनों को बुरी तरह क्षतिग्रस्त कर दिया। आरोप है कि इस हमले के पीछे एक सोची-समझी साजिश थी, जिसमें स्थानीय लोगों के साथ मिलकर बाहरी राज्यों के गैंगस्टरों को भी बुलाया गया था।

इस हिंसक झड़प में अब तक तीन मुख्य आरोपियों की पहचान हो चुकी है। मिली जानकारी के अनुसार, अभिषेक, आशिक उर्फ काका (पुत्र रमजान) और साहिदा के नाम इस हमले की योजना बनाने और उसे अंजाम देने में सामने आए हैं। स्थानीय लोगों का कहना है कि अगर समय रहते पुलिस सख्त कार्रवाई नहीं करती, तो कोई बड़ी अनहोनी हो सकती थी। मामले की गंभीरता को देखते हुए पुलिस ने तुरंत मोर्चा संभाल लिया है। डीएसपी पांवटा साहिब ने पुष्टि की है कि पीड़ितों का मेडिकल करवा दिया गया है और आरोपियों के खिलाफ एफआईआर (FIR) दर्ज कर ली गई है। डीएसपी ने बताया कि “तीन आरोपियों की पहचान कर ली गई है और अन्य हमलावरों को पकड़ने के लिए छापेमारी जारी है। जल्द ही सभी दोषियों को सलाखों के पीछे भेजा जाएगा।

The attack targeted not only the men but also the women of the house, creating an atmosphere of terror throughout the area. The attackers vandalized the home of the victim, Javed Ali (son of the late Khurshid). According to eyewitnesses, the assailants severely damaged the windows and parked vehicles. It is alleged that this attack was a well-planned conspiracy, involving locals and gangsters from outside the state.

Three main accused in this violent clash have been identified so far. According to information received, Abhishek, Aashiq alias Kaka (son of Ramzan), and Sahida have been named in the planning and execution of this attack. Locals say that if the police had not taken strict action in time, something serious could have happened. Given the seriousness of the matter, the police have immediately taken charge. DSP Paonta Sahib confirmed that the victims have been medically examined and an FIR has been registered against the accused. The DSP said, “Three accused have been identified and raids are underway to nab the other attackers. Soon all the culprits will be sent behind bars.”
