सेओग शिलवाल संगठन ने अपना प्रथम स्थापना दिवस शिलाई के धार्मिक आस्था के प्रमुख स्थल गिरनौल मंदिर में हर्षोल्लास और उत्साह के साथ मनाया। आयोजित सम्मेलन की अध्यक्षता मोहर सिंह नंबरदार (ग्राम टिंबरा), कल्याण सिंह बज़ीर शिला, लाल सिंह डीमेदार बुटियाना और ओम प्रकाश नंबरदार शिला ने संयुक्त रूप से की।
कार्यक्रम के दौरान संगठन के पूर्व अध्यक्ष चेत राम ने अपने एक वर्ष के कार्यकाल का संक्षिप्त विवरण प्रस्तुत किया। इसके पश्चात उनकी कार्यकारिणी को विधिवत रूप से भंग कर दिया गया। सम्मेलन में सर्वसम्मति से नई समिति का गठन किया गया, जिसमें ग्राम देवथल निवासी अत्तर सिंह को अध्यक्ष चुना गया। साथ ही उनकी नई कार्यकारिणी का भी सर्वसम्मति से चयन किया गया। संगठन खश भाईचारे की परंपरा पर आधारित है, जो अपनी पारंपरिक “खुम्बली” प्रणाली के माध्यम से सामाजिक समस्याओं के समाधान हेतु अपने अंतर्गत आने वाले गांवों में सक्रिय भूमिका निभा रहा है। संगठन ने आपसी भाईचारे को मजबूत बनाने, सांस्कृतिक विरासत के संरक्षण एवं संवर्धन और जरूरतमंद लोगों की सहायता करने का संकल्प दोहराया।

बैठक के दौरान विवाह समारोहों में बढ़ते अत्यधिक खर्च और मैदानी क्षेत्रों की विवाह पद्धतियों के अनावश्यक अनुकरण पर भी गंभीर चर्चा हुई। संगठन ने इस सामाजिक विषय पर ठोस कदम उठाने का निर्णय लेते हुए विवाह से जुड़े खर्चों को सीमित करने की दिशा में कार्य करने का संकल्प लिया, ताकि समाज में समानता और संतुलन की भावना को मजबूत किया जा सके। उल्लेखनीय है कि संगठन के अंतर्गत लगभग 24 गांव शामिल हैं, जिनमें टिंबरा, ढाड़स, कुफर, बडियार, भुगाड़ी, डिमटी, बागना, बेला, बुटियाना, सेरखी, नया, शिल्ला, जुइनल, देवथल, चाकला, बावत, मालत, शिरन, बडीश, पुलवाल, मजोटली, ओखरड़ी और धन्नाट प्रमुख हैं। विशेष बात यह है कि संगठन में उत्तराखंड राज्य का टिंबरा गांव भी शामिल है। कार्यक्रम में क्षेत्र के गणमान्य व्यक्तियों सहित संगठन के लगभग 200 सदस्यों ने सक्रिय भागीदारी निभाई। संगठन ने यह भी निर्णय लिया कि भविष्य में जनहित के कार्यों हेतु समय-समय पर विभिन्न गांवों में खुम्बली का आयोजन किया जाता रहेगा और समाजहित के कार्यों को प्राथमिकता के आधार पर पूरा किया जाएगा।

The Seog Shilwal Organization celebrated its first foundation day with great joy and enthusiasm at the Girnaul Temple, a major religious site in Shillai. The conference was jointly presided over by Mohar Singh Numberdar (village Timbra), Kalyan Singh Bazir Shila, Lal Singh Deemedar Butiana, and Om Prakash Numberdar Shila.
During the program, the organization’s former president, Chet Ram, presented a brief overview of his one-year tenure. Following this, his executive committee was formally dissolved. A new committee was unanimously formed at the conference, with Attar Singh, a resident of Devthal, elected as president. A new executive committee was also unanimously elected. The organization, based on the tradition of the Khas community, plays an active role in solving social problems in its under-served villages through its traditional “Khumbli” system. The organization reiterated its commitment to strengthening mutual brotherhood, preserving and promoting cultural heritage, and assisting those in need.

During the meeting, the increasing expenditure on wedding ceremonies and the unnecessary imitation of marriage customs from the plains were also discussed. The organization decided to take concrete steps on this social issue and resolved to work towards limiting wedding-related expenses, thereby strengthening the spirit of equality and balance in society. It is noteworthy that the organization encompasses approximately 24 villages, including Timbra, Dhadas, Kufar, Badiyar, Bhugadi, Dimti, Bagna, Bela, Butiyana, Serkhi, Naya, Shilla, Juinal, Devthal, Chakla, Bawat, Malat, Shiran, Badish, Pulwal, Majotli, Okhardi, and Dhannat. Notably, the organization also includes the village of Timbra in Uttarakhand. Approximately 200 members, along with prominent figures from the region, actively participated in the program. The organization also decided that in future, Khumbli will be organized from time to time in various villages for public welfare works and works for social welfare will be completed on priority basis.
