देहरादून: बसंतोत्सव केवल फूलों की प्रदर्शनी नहीं, बल्कि उत्तराखंड की उभरती ‘ग्रीन इकोनॉमी’ का प्रतिबिंब बनकर उभरा है। समापन समारोह को संबोधित करते हुए मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने कहा कि राज्य में 656 हेक्टेयर में व्यावसायिक फूलों की खेती हो रही है। उन्होंने किसानों की आय बढ़ाने के लिए लागू की गई ₹1200 करोड़ की नई सेब, कीवी और मिलेट नीतियों का उल्लेख करते हुए 80% तक सब्सिडी का लाभ उठाने का आह्वान किया।

राज्यपाल का मंत्र: नवाचार और शोध

राज्यपाल ने आयोजन को ‘विकसित भारत 2047’ की दिशा में एक कदम बताया। उन्होंने कहा कि उद्यान विभाग के स्टॉल्स ने यह सिद्ध किया है कि पुष्प केवल सुंदरता के लिए नहीं, बल्कि मानसिक स्वास्थ्य और संतुलन के लिए भी अनिवार्य हैं। उत्सव में आए लगभग साढ़े तीन लाख लोगों का उत्साह इस आयोजन की असली सफलता रही।

Dehradun: Basantotsav has emerged not merely as a flower exhibition but as a reflection of Uttarakhand’s growing “Green Economy.” Addressing the closing ceremony, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami stated that commercial floriculture is currently being carried out across 656 hectares in the state.

He also referred to the newly implemented ₹1,200 crore Apple, Kiwi, and Millet policies aimed at increasing farmers’ income, urging them to take advantage of subsidies of up to 80 percent under these schemes.

Governor’s Message: Innovation and Research

The Governor described the event as a step toward the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047. He said the stalls set up by the Horticulture Department demonstrated that flowers are not only symbols of beauty but are also essential for mental health and emotional balance.

The enthusiasm of nearly 350,000 visitors who attended the festival was seen as the true measure of its success.
