पांवटा साहिब के आंज भोज क्षेत्र के लोगों की लंबे समय से चली आ रही लोक निर्माण विभाग के जेई सेक्शन को शिलाई मंडल से हटाकर पांवटा साहिब मंडल से जोड़ने की मांग आखिरकार पूरी हो गई है। इस निर्णय से क्षेत्र में खुशी की लहर है और लोगों ने लोक निर्माण मंत्री विक्रमादित्य सिंह का आभार जताया है।

गत वर्ष आंज भोज क्षेत्र के टोरू गांव के दौरे के दौरान मंत्री ने स्थानीय ग्रामीणों, कांग्रेस कार्यकर्ताओं और पांवटा साहिब विकास मंच की मांग को गंभीरता से सुना था और उसे पूरा करने का आश्वासन दिया था। इस मुद्दे को युवा कांग्रेस नेता मनीष तोमर ने भी प्रमुखता से उठाया था। अब सरकार द्वारा इस जेई सेक्शन को पांवटा साहिब लोक निर्माण मंडल से जोड़ने के आदेश जारी कर दिए गए हैं।

मनीष तोमर ने कहा कि यह क्षेत्र की वर्षों पुरानी मांग थी, जिसके पूरा होने से लोगों को बड़ी राहत मिलेगी। अब सड़कों से संबंधित कार्यों, नई परियोजनाओं और ठेके से जुड़े कार्यों के लिए 80 किलोमीटर दूर शिलाई नहीं जाना पड़ेगा। सभी कार्य अब पांवटा साहिब लोक निर्माण विभाग मंडल में ही संपन्न होंगे।

The long-standing demand of residents of the Aanj Bhoj area in Paonta Sahib to shift the Public Works Department (PWD) Junior Engineer (JE) Section from the Shillai Division to the Paonta Sahib Division has finally been fulfilled. The decision has sparked a wave of happiness in the region, with locals expressing gratitude to PWD Minister Vikramaditya Singh.

During his visit last year to Toru village in the Aanj Bhoj area, the minister had seriously considered the demand raised by local villagers, Congress workers, and the Paonta Sahib Vikas Manch, assuring them that appropriate action would be taken. The issue was also strongly advocated by Youth Congress leader Manish Tomar. Now, the government has officially issued orders to merge the JE Section with the Paonta Sahib PWD Division.

Manish Tomar stated that this was a years-old demand of the region, and its fulfillment would bring significant relief to the people. Residents will no longer have to travel 80 kilometers to Shillai for road-related works, new projects, or contract-related matters. All such work will now be handled within the Paonta Sahib PWD Division itself.
