औद्योगिक क्षेत्र मतरालियों में एक दर्दनाक हादसे में 27 वर्षीय युवक की मौत हो गई। पुलिस ने पोस्टमार्टम के बाद शव परिजनों को सौंप दिया है तथा मामले की जांच शुरू कर दी है। मृतक की पहचान निखिल कुमार (27), पुत्र सुरेंद्र, निवासी सहारनपुर के रूप में हुई है। बताया जा रहा है कि निखिल पिछले काफी समय से पांवटा साहिब में रहकर सरिया बांधने का काम करता था जानकारी के अनुसार एक निजी मकान की तीसरी मंजिल में सरिया चढ़ाते हुए सरिये की एक लेंथ साथ से गुज़र रही हाई वोल्टेज बिजली लाइन से लग गई जिससे उसे जोरदार बिजली का झटका लगा और वह गिर पड़ा।

गिरने की आवाज सुनकर वहां मौजूद उसके साथी तुरंत बचाओ के लिए पहुंचे और उसे उपचार के लिए सिविल अस्पताल पांवटा साहिब ले जाया गया, जहां चिकित्सकों ने उसे मृत घोषित कर दिया। अस्पताल से प्राप्त सूचना पर पहुंची पुलिस टीम ने हेड कांस्टेबल दयाल सिंह के नेतृत्व में घटनास्थल का निरीक्षण कर साक्ष्य एकत्र किए। एसपी सिरमौर निश्चिंत सिंह नेगी ने घटना की पुष्टि करते हुए बताया कि पुलिस ने सीआरपीसी की धारा 125 व 106 के तहत कार्रवाई अमल में लाई है और मामले की गहन जांच की जा रही है।

A 27-year-old man died in a tragic accident in the Matarali industrial area. Police have handed over the body to his family after a post-mortem and have launched an investigation. The deceased has been identified as Nikhil Kumar (27), son of Surendra, a resident of Saharanpur. Nikhil had been working as a rebar fixer in Paonta Sahib for some time. According to reports, while installing rebar on the third floor of a private house, a length of rebar came into contact with a high-voltage power line, causing a severe electric shock and causing him to fall.

Upon hearing the sound of the fall, his colleagues immediately rushed to his rescue. He was taken to the Civil Hospital, Paonta Sahib, where doctors declared him dead. Acting on information from the hospital, a police team, led by Head Constable Dayal Singh, inspected the scene and collected evidence. SP Sirmaur Nisheeth Singh Negi, while confirming the incident, said that the police have taken action under sections 125 and 106 of the CrPC and a thorough investigation is being conducted into the matter.
