प्रदेश कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष रेणुका जी के विधायक विनय कुमार ने रेणुका बांध से प्रभावित लोगों की लंबित मांगें पूरी करने पर मुख्यमंत्री सुखविंदर सिंह सुक्खू का आभार व्यक्त किया है। उन्होंने बताया कि सरकार ने 152 हाउसलेस परिवारों को आरआर नीति के तहत भूमिहीन मानते हुए बांध प्रभावित श्रेणी में शामिल करने का निर्णय लिया है, जिससे प्रभावितों को बड़ी राहत मिली है। विनय कुमार ने कहा कि रेणुका क्षेत्र में सड़क, स्वास्थ्य, शिक्षा, पेयजल और धार्मिक पर्यटन को प्राथमिकता के आधार पर विकसित किया जाएगा, ताकि स्थानीय लोगों को बेहतर सुविधाएं मिल सकें। उन्होंने आरडीजी बहाली के मुद्दे पर हुई सर्वदलीय बैठक का उल्लेख करते हुए कहा कि इस संवेदनशील विषय पर भाजपा से भी सकारात्मक सहयोग की उम्मीद है, जिससे प्रभावित परिवारों के हित में जल्द समाधान निकल सके।

State Congress President Renuka Ji’s MLA, Vinay Kumar, has expressed his gratitude to Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu for fulfilling the long-pending demands of the people affected by the Renuka Dam project. He stated that the government has decided to include 152 landless families in the dam-affected category under the R&R (Rehabilitation and Resettlement) policy, providing significant relief to those affected. Vinay Kumar said that roads, healthcare, education, drinking water, and religious tourism will be developed on a priority basis in the Renuka region to provide better facilities to the local people. Referring to the all-party meeting held on the issue of R&R restoration, he said that positive cooperation is expected from the BJP on this sensitive matter so that a solution can be found soon in the best interest of the affected families.
