जिला कल्याण अधिकारी गावा सिंह नेगी ने जिला सिरमौर के उन सभी सामाजिक सुरक्षा पेंशन योजनाओं के लाभार्थियों से अपील करते हुए कहा है कि जिन पात्र लाभार्थियों ने अपनी ई-केवाईसी सत्यापन अभी तक नहीं करवाया है वे अपने नजदीकी आगंनबाड़ी केन्द्र अथवा सम्बंधित तहसील कल्याण अधिकारी कार्यालय में जाकर 15 फरवरी, 2026 से पूर्व सभी आवश्यक दस्तावेजों सहित अपना ई-केवाईसी सत्यापन करवाना सुनिश्चित करें। उन्होंने बताया कि विभाग द्वारा सभी सामाजिक सुरक्षा पेंशन लाभार्थियों का सत्यापन ; ई-केवाईसीद्ध युद्ध स्तर पर जिला कल्याण अधिकारी व तहसील कल्याण अधिकारी द्वारा आगंनबाड़ी कार्यकर्ताओ के सहयोग से जुलाई, 2025 में आरम्भ किया गया था। इस अभियान के अंतर्गत सभी लाभार्थियों का ई-केवाईसी सत्यापन पूरा करने की अंतिम तिथि 31 जनवरी, 2026 निर्धारित की गयी थी। जिन पेंशन धारकों ने निर्धारित अवधि में अपना ई-केवाईसी सत्यापन नहीं करवाया है, उनकी पेंशन विभाग द्वारा अस्थायी तौर पर रोक दी गई है।

उन्होंने बताया कि ई-केवाईसी सत्यापन के इस अंतिम अवसर के उपरान्त, पेंशन लाभार्थी द्वारा अपनी ई-केवाईसी सत्यापित नहीं करने की स्थिति में यह समझा जाएगा कि पेंशनर अनुपलब्ध है अथवा सामाजिक सुरक्षा पेंशन प्राप्त करने हेतु पात्र नहीं है, तथा उन पेंशनरों की पेंशन स्थायी रूप से बंद कर दी जायेगी। इसके अतिरिक्त, यदि किसी असहाय पेंशनभोगी का आधार कार्ड किसी कारण से नहीं बना है या उसे अपडेट करने की आवश्यकता है, तो वह आधार कार्ड अपडेट करवाने के लिए संबंधित तहसील कल्याण अधिकारी से संपर्क कर सकता है। उन्होंने बताया कि ई-केवाईसी सत्यापन हेतु आवश्यक जानकारी एवं समस्या निवारण के लिए लाभार्थी अपने नजदीकी जिला कल्याण अधिकारी, तहसील कल्याण अधिकारी, बाल विकास परियोजना अधिकारी, बाल विकास परियोजना पर्यवेक्षक तथा सम्बन्धित आंगनवाडी कार्यकर्ता से संपर्क कर सकते है।

District Welfare Officer Gawa Singh Negi has appealed to all beneficiaries of social security pension schemes in Sirmaur district to ensure that those eligible beneficiaries who have not yet completed their e-KYC verification do so before February 15, 2026, by visiting their nearest Anganwadi center or the concerned Tehsil Welfare Officer’s office with all the necessary documents. He informed that the department had launched the verification (e-KYC) of all social security pension beneficiaries on a war footing in July 2025, with the District Welfare Officer and Tehsil Welfare Officers working in collaboration with Anganwadi workers. The last date for completing the e-KYC verification for all beneficiaries under this campaign was set as January 31, 2026. The pensions of those pensioners who did not complete their e-KYC verification within the stipulated period have been temporarily suspended by the department.

He stated that after this final opportunity for e-KYC verification, if a pension beneficiary fails to verify their e-KYC, it will be assumed that the pensioner is unavailable or ineligible to receive the social security pension, and their pension will be permanently stopped. Furthermore, if a vulnerable pensioner does not have an Aadhaar card for any reason or needs to update it, they can contact the concerned Tehsil Welfare Officer to get their Aadhaar card updated. He also informed that beneficiaries can contact their nearest District Welfare Officer, Tehsil Welfare Officer, Child Development Project Officer, Child Development Project Supervisor, and the concerned Anganwadi worker for necessary information and assistance regarding e-KYC verification and troubleshooting.
