राजगढ़ उपमंडल के हाब्बन क्षेत्र अंतर्गत कोढ़ब बागना गांव के निवासी एवं जिला सांख्यिकी कार्यालय सोलन में कार्यरत 40 वर्षीय अधिकारी द्वारा आत्महत्या किए जाने की घटना से पूरे क्षेत्र में शोक और स्तब्धता का माहौल है। बीते दिन प्रेमप्रकाश ने जंगल में जाकर फांसी लगाकर अपनी जीवन लीला समाप्त कर ली। परिजनों के अनुसार प्रेमप्रकाश पिछले कुछ दिनों से अवकाश पर घर आए हुए थे। इस दौरान वह मानसिक रूप से अत्यधिक परेशान नजर आ रहे थे। परिवारजनों ने बताया कि वह बार-बार विभागीय कार्यों को लेकर चिंता व्यक्त कर रहे थे और कहते थे कि उन पर गलत तरीके से काम करने का दबाव डाला जा रहा है।परिजनों का आरोप है कि विभाग के कुछ वरिष्ठ अधिकारी और तकनीकी कर्मचारी प्रेमप्रकाश पर नियमों के विपरीत कार्य करने का दबाव बना रहे थे। इस दबाव के कारण उनकी मानसिक स्थिति लगातार बिगड़ती चली गई, लेकिन विभागीय स्तर पर उन्हें न तो उचित मार्गदर्शन मिला और न ही सहयोग। घटना की सूचना मिलते ही थाना राजगढ़ की पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची और शव को कब्जे में लेकर पोस्टमार्टम के लिए अस्पताल भिजवाया।

आज पोस्टमार्टम की औपचारिकताएं पूरी करने के बाद शव परिजनों को सौंप दिया गया। पुलिस ने मामला दर्ज कर जांच शुरू कर दी है। मृतक द्वारा छोड़े गए सुसाइड नोट में प्रशासनिक कार्यशैली, विभागीय दबाव, प्रशिक्षण की कमी और संवादहीनता पर गंभीर सवाल उठाए गए हैं। नोट में उल्लेख है कि लगातार गलत कार्य करने का दबाव, आवश्यक प्रशिक्षण का अभाव और सहयोग न मिलने से वह अंदर ही अंदर टूट चुके थे। सुसाइड नोट में यह भी स्पष्ट किया गया है कि उनका यह कदम किसी व्यक्तिगत विवाद या पारिवारिक कारण से नहीं, बल्कि व्यवस्था में मौजूद खामियों और विभागीय कार्यप्रणाली से उत्पन्न मानसिक दबाव के चलते उठाया गया। यह घटना केवल एक अधिकारी की मृत्यु नहीं, बल्कि सरकारी कार्यालयों में कर्मचारियों के मानसिक स्वास्थ्य, पारदर्शी कार्यप्रणाली और संवेदनशील प्रशासनिक ढांचे की कमी की ओर इशारा करती है। विशेषज्ञों का मानना है कि यदि समय रहते संवाद और सहयोग होता, तो शायद यह दुखद घटना टाली जा सकती थी। परिजनों ने निष्पक्ष जांच की उठाई मांग मृतक के परिजनों ने प्रशासन से मामले की गहन, निष्पक्ष और पारदर्शी जांच की मांग की है। उनका कहना है कि सच्चाई सामने आनी चाहिए, ताकि भविष्य में किसी और कर्मचारी को ऐसी मानसिक पीड़ा से गुजरना न पड़े।

A pall of grief and shock has descended upon the entire region following the suicide of a 40-year-old officer from Kodhb Bagna village in the Habban area of Rajgarh subdivision, who was employed at the District Statistics Office in Solan. The deceased, identified as Prem Prakash, ended his life by hanging himself in a forest yesterday. According to his family, Prem Prakash had been on leave and at home for the past few days. During this time, he appeared to be under immense mental distress. His family members stated that he repeatedly expressed concerns about his work and claimed that he was being pressured to perform his duties improperly. The family alleges that some senior officers and technical staff in the department were pressuring Prem Prakash to act against regulations. This pressure reportedly led to a continuous deterioration of his mental health, but he received neither proper guidance nor support from the department. Upon receiving information about the incident, the Rajgarh police arrived at the scene, took custody of the body, and sent it to the hospital for a post-mortem examination.

After completing the post-mortem formalities today, the body was handed over to the family. The police have registered a case and started an investigation. The suicide note left by the deceased raises serious questions about administrative practices, departmental pressure, lack of training, and poor communication. The note mentions that the constant pressure to perform incorrect tasks, the lack of necessary training, and the absence of support had broken him down internally.
