पांवटा साहिब के बातामंडी निवासी 42 वर्षीय जितेंद्र, जो मुँह के कैंसर जैसी गंभीर बीमारी से जूझ रहे हैं, उनके इलाज के लिए अब सामाजिक स्तर पर मदद का दायरा बढ़ने लगा है। इसी क्रम में मज़दूर नेता प्रदीप चौहान ने आगे आकर पीड़ित परिवार की आवाज़ बुलंद की और लोगों से आर्थिक सहयोग की अपील की है। प्रदीप चौहान ने बताया कि जितेंद्र एक साधारण मज़दूर परिवार से ताल्लुक रखते हैं और अपने बूढ़े माँ-बाप का एकलौता सहारा हैं। परिवार में उनकी पत्नी, जो शिलाई क्षेत्र के टिंबी की रहने वाली हैं, और एक 15 महीने का मासूम बेटा भी है। कमजोर आर्थिक हालात के चलते महंगे इलाज का खर्च परिवार के लिए भारी पड़ रहा है। उन्होंने कहा कि डॉक्टरों के अनुसार समय पर इलाज मिलने से जितेंद्र की जान बच सकती है, लेकिन पैसों की कमी इस समय सबसे बड़ी चुनौती बनी हुई है। ऐसे में समाज के सक्षम लोगों को आगे आकर मदद करनी चाहिए।मज़दूर नेता ने लोगों से भावुक अपील करते हुए कहा कि यह सिर्फ़ एक व्यक्ति की मदद का मामला नहीं है, बल्कि एक पिता, एक बेटे और एक पूरे परिवार को बचाने की ज़िम्मेदारी है। अगर हर व्यक्ति थोड़ा-थोड़ा सहयोग करे, तो इस परिवार को टूटने से बचाया जा सकता है।उन्होंने आम जनता, सामाजिक संगठनों और जनप्रतिनिधियों से अपील की कि वे आगे आकर जितेंदर के इलाज के लिए आर्थिक सहयोग करें और इस अपील को अधिक से अधिक लोगों तक पहुँचाएँ।

Jitendra, a 42-year-old resident of Batamandi in Paonta Sahib, is battling a serious illness – oral cancer – and now a social support network is expanding to help him with his treatment. In this regard, labor leader Pradeep Chauhan has stepped forward to raise awareness of the family’s plight and appealed to people for financial assistance. Pradeep Chauhan explained that Jitendra comes from a humble working-class family and is the sole support for his elderly parents. His family also includes his wife, who hails from Timbi in the Shillai area, and a 15-month-old son. Due to their weak financial condition, the cost of expensive treatment is proving to be a heavy burden for the family. He said that according to doctors, Jitendra’s life can be saved with timely treatment, but the lack of funds is currently the biggest challenge. Therefore, he urged capable members of society to come forward and help. The labor leader made an emotional appeal to the public, saying that this is not just about helping one individual, but about saving a father, a son, and an entire family. If everyone contributes a little, this family can be saved from ruin.
