जल संरक्षण और जन-जागरूकता को बढ़ावा देने की दिशा में पांवटा साहिब के रामपुर घाट में जलज केंद्र का भव्य ऑनलाइन उद्घाटन किया गया। यह केंद्र ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में जल संरक्षण की समझ विकसित करने, गंगा स्वच्छता अभियान को सशक्त बनाने तथा भावी पीढ़ियों के लिए जल संसाधनों को सुरक्षित रखने में अहम भूमिका निभाएगा। इस अवसर पर केंद्रीय जल शक्ति मंत्री सी. आर. पाटिल ने देशभर में स्थापित अटल बिहारी वाजपेयी जलज केंद्रों का ऑनलाइन शुभारंभ किया। कार्यक्रम में ग्राम पंचायत प्रतिनिधि, स्थानीय जनप्रतिनिधि तथा बड़ी संख्या में ग्रामीण उपस्थित रहे। उद्घाटन समारोह के दौरान जलज दल द्वारा आयोजित गंगा प्रहरी प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम में विभिन्न गांवों से आए प्रतिभागियों ने भाग लिया। वक्ताओं ने कहा कि जलज केंद्रों के माध्यम से जल संरक्षण, नदी स्वच्छता और जनभागीदारी को और अधिक मजबूती मिलेगी, जिससे गंगा स्वच्छता अभियान को नई गति प्राप्त होगी।

A grand online inauguration of the Jalaj Center was held at Rampur Ghat in Paonta Sahib, aimed at promoting water conservation and public awareness. This center will play a crucial role in developing an understanding of water conservation in rural areas, strengthening the Ganga Cleanliness Campaign, and safeguarding water resources for future generations. On this occasion, Union Minister of Jal Shakti, C.R. Patil, virtually inaugurated the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Jalaj Centers established across the country. Gram panchayat representatives, local elected officials, and a large number of villagers were present at the event. During the inauguration ceremony, participants from various villages took part in the Ganga Praharis training program organized by the Jalaj team. Speakers said that the Jalaj Centers will further strengthen water conservation, river cleanliness, and public participation, giving a new impetus to the Ganga Cleanliness Campaign.
