महिला एवं बाल विकास विभाग पांवटा साहिब तथा जिला कार्यक्रम अधिकारी सिरमौर द्वारा आज संकल्प-हब के अंतर्गत शिक्षा विभाग, स्वास्थ्य विभाग व वन विभाग के सहयोग से पांवटा साहिब ब्लॉक के राजकीय वरिष्ठ माध्यमिक पाठशाला काँटी मशवा में एक दिवसीय जिला स्तरीय जागरूकता शिविर का आयोजन किया गया। इस कार्यक्रम में संकल्प-हब की जिला समन्वयक कृतिका ठाकुर ने महिला एवं बाल विकास की केंद्र एवं राज्य योजनाओं के बारे में जानकारी दी। उन्होंने मिशन शक्ति, बेटी बचाओ बेटी पढ़ाओ, कार्यस्थल पर महिलाओं का यौन उत्पीड़न अधिनियम 2013, आंगनवाड़ी, क्रेच सेंटर, सखी निवास, शक्ति सदन, पीएमएमवीवाई सहित वन स्टॉप सेंटर, चाइल्ड एब्यूज, चाइल्ड हेल्पलाइन, बाल विवाह, डोमेस्टिक वायलेंस के बारे में विस्तृत जानकारी दी। उन्होंने बाल विवाह मुक्त भारत के अभियान के बारे मे जानकारी दी।

उन्होंने बच्चों के साथ चाइल्ड हेल्पलाइन नम्बर 1098, वुमन हेल्पलाइन नंबर 181, वन स्टॉप सेंटर का लैंडलाइन नंबर 01702-222300 जैसे हेल्पलाइन्स नंबर्स उनकी सुरक्षा के लिए सांझा किये गये। कार्यक्रम के दौरान लिंग विशेषज्ञ सुश्री सोनम परमार द्वारा महिला सशक्तिकरण के लिए बुनियादी आजीविका तथा पोषण व अनीमिया से जुड़ी जानकारी दी गई। उन्होंने मासिक धर्म तथा उससे जुड़ी समस्याओं बारे भी चर्चा की। उन्होंने महिलाओं और लड़कियों के खिलाफ बड़ रहे अपराधों के बारे में विशेष जानकारी दी। स्वास्थ्य विभाग से डाक्टर आदित्य गोयल ने बच्चों से हेल्थ् टिप्स सांझा किए। प्रधानाचार्य प्रताप सिंह ने बच्चों को नशीले पदार्थों से दूर ओर उनके नुकसान के बारे में बच्चों को विशेष रूप से अवगत कराया। वन विभाग के सहयोग से स्कूल कैम्पस मे बेटी बचाओ बेटी पढ़ाओ स्कीम के तहत संकल्प हब सिरमौर द्वारा विशेष पौधारोपण भी किया गया। इस अवसर पर विद्यालय के अध्यापक, विद्यार्थियों सहित स्थानीय महिलाएं, सुपरवाइजर, अंगनवाड़ी वर्कर्स तथा डीएचईडब्लयू स्टाफ शामिल रहे।

The Women and Child Development Department, Paonta Sahib, and the District Programme Officer, Sirmaur, organized a one-day district-level awareness camp today at Government Senior Secondary School, Kanti Mashwa, in Paonta Sahib block, under the Sankalp-Hub initiative, in collaboration with the Education Department, Health Department, and Forest Department. During the program, Kritika Thakur, the District Coordinator of Sankalp-Hub, provided information about the central and state schemes of the Women and Child Development Department. She gave detailed information about Mission Shakti, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace Act 2013, Anganwadi centers, crèche centers, Sakhi Niwas, Shakti Sadan, PMMVY, as well as One Stop Centers, child abuse, child helpline, child marriage, and domestic violence. She also provided information about the campaign for a child marriage-free India.

They shared helpline numbers with the children, including Child Helpline number 1098, Women’s Helpline number 181, and the One Stop Centre landline number 01702-222300, for their safety. During the program, gender expert Ms. Sonam Parmar provided information on basic livelihood, nutrition, and anemia for women’s empowerment. She also discussed menstruation and related problems. She gave specific information about the increasing crimes against women and girls. Dr. Aditya Goyal from the Health Department shared health tips with the children. Principal Pratap Singh specifically informed the children about the dangers of drugs and the importance of staying away from them. A special tree plantation drive was also conducted in the school campus by Sankalp Hub Sirmour under the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao scheme, with the cooperation of the Forest Department. School teachers, students, local women, supervisors, Anganwadi workers, and DHEW staff were present on this occasion.
