जिला सिरमौर में अवैध जुआ गतिविधियों के खिलाफ पुलिस द्वारा चलाए जा रहे विशेष अभियान के तहत पुलिस चौकी सिंघपुरा की टीम ने बड़ी कार्रवाई को अंजाम दिया है। पुलिस ने सिंघपुरा क्षेत्र में दड़ा सट्टा खेलते हुए एक व्यक्ति को रंगे हाथों गिरफ्तार किया है।पुलिस को गुप्त सूचना के आधार पर मौके पर दबिश दी गई, जहां आरोपी सट्टा लगाते हुए पाया गया। तलाशी के दौरान आरोपी के कब्जे से नकदी राशि और सट्टे से संबंधित पर्चियां बरामद की गईं। पुलिस ने मौके पर ही सट्टा सामग्री को कब्जे में लेकर आरोपी के खिलाफ जुआ अधिनियम के तहत मामला दर्ज कर लिया है।पुलिस अधिकारियों ने बताया कि जिले में जुआ, सट्टा और अन्य अवैध गतिविधियों पर लगातार सख्त नजर रखी जा रही है और इस तरह की कार्रवाइयां आगे भी जारी रहेंगी। आम जनता से भी अपील की गई है कि यदि कहीं अवैध गतिविधियों की जानकारी हो तो पुलिस को तुरंत सूचित करें।

Police arrested a man red-handed while he was engaged in illegal gambling (Dara Satta) in the Singpura area. Acting on a tip-off, the police raided the location where the accused was found gambling. During the search, cash and gambling slips were recovered from his possession. The police seized the gambling materials on the spot and registered a case against the accused under the Gambling Act. Police officials stated that strict vigilance is being maintained against gambling, betting, and other illegal activities in the district, and such actions will continue. The general public has also been urged to immediately inform the police if they have any information about illegal activities.
