बांबल गांव में पारंपरिक खोड़ा उत्सव की धूम, लोक संस्कृति के रंगों में सराबोर हुआ गिरिपार हिमाचल प्रदेश के जिला सिरमौर के गिरिपार क्षेत्र में माघी पर्व के उपलक्ष्य में इस वर्ष भी पारंपरिक उत्सवों की धूम देखने को मिली। इसी कड़ी में शिलाई उपमंडल के बांबल गांव में प्राचीन एवं ऐतिहासिक खोड़ा उत्सव का भव्य आयोजन किया गया। यह लोकपर्व माघ माह की आठवीं प्रविष्टि को मनाया जाता है और गिरिपार क्षेत्र की सांस्कृतिक पहचान का महत्वपूर्ण प्रतीक माना जाता है। उत्सव के दौरान पूरा गांव लोक संस्कृति के रंगों में रंगा नजर आया। ग्रामीणों ने पारंपरिक वेशभूषा धारण कर ढोल-नगाड़ों की थाप पर जमकर नृत्य किया। रासा नृत्य, तलवार नृत्य और सुर्खी रासा जैसी पारंपरिक प्रस्तुतियों ने माहौल को पूरी तरह जीवंत कर दिया। गांव का हर कोना लोकरीति, परंपरा और सांस्कृतिक विरासत की कहानियों से गूंज उठा। खोड़ा उत्सव के अवसर पर पारंपरिक व्यंजनों की भी विशेष व्यवस्था की गई, जिनका लोगों ने भरपूर आनंद लिया।

इस आयोजन में स्थानीय ग्रामीणों के साथ-साथ दूर-दराज क्षेत्रों और शहरों में बसे गांव के लोग भी अपने पैतृक गांव पहुंचे, जिससे पारिवारिक और सामाजिक संबंधों को मजबूती मिली। कार्यक्रम के मुख्य अतिथि मान सिंह सिंघटा रहे, जबकि विशिष्ट अतिथि के रूप में प्रदीप ठाकुर, दिनेश सिंह चौहान, रवि राणा और सुरेंद्र ठाकुर उपस्थित रहे। मुख्य अतिथि ने नवयुवक मंडल को प्रोत्साहन स्वरूप 21 हजार रुपये की धनराशि भेंट की। शाम को आयोजित विशेष सांस्कृतिक संध्या में मुख्य कलाकार अनूप छागटा, पूनम सेरमेक, पंकज ठाकुर, दीपक चौहान और अभिषेक ठाकुर ने अपने मधुर गीतों से समां बांध दिया। कलाकारों की प्रस्तुतियों पर सैकड़ों दर्शक देर रात तक झूमते नजर आए। मुख्य अतिथि मान सिंह सिंघटा ने अपने संबोधन में कहा कि ऐसे पारंपरिक आयोजन समाज को एकजुट करने के साथ-साथ प्रदेश की समृद्ध लोक संस्कृति के संरक्षण में अहम भूमिका निभाते हैं। खोड़ा उत्सव ने पूरे गिरिपार क्षेत्र में उत्साह, उल्लास और सांस्कृतिक गौरव का वातावरण निर्मित कर दिया।

The traditional Khoda festival in Bambal village was abuzz with the colors of folk culture. The Giripar region of Sirmaur district in Himachal Pradesh witnessed a splendid celebration of traditional festivals this year as well, marking the Maghi festival. In this context, the ancient and historic Khoda festival was celebrated in grand style in Bambal village of Shillai subdivision. This folk festival is celebrated on the eighth day of the month of Magha and is considered an important symbol of the Giripar region’s cultural identity. During the festival, the entire village was awash in the colors of folk culture. Villagers, dressed in traditional costumes, danced to the beats of drums. Traditional performances such as the Rasa dance, the sword dance, and the Surkhi Rasa brought the atmosphere to life. Every corner of the village resonated with stories of folk customs, traditions, and cultural heritage.

Special arrangements were made for traditional cuisine during the Khoda festival, which was thoroughly enjoyed by the people. The event brought together local villagers as well as villagers from far-flung areas and cities to visit their ancestral villages, strengthening family and social ties. Man Singh Singhta was the chief guest, while Pradeep Thakur, Dinesh Singh Chauhan, Ravi Rana, and Surendra Thakur were present as special guests. The chief guest presented a sum of 21,000 rupees to the youth group as an incentive.

In the evening, a special cultural evening featured prominent artists Anoop Chagta, Poonam Sermake, Pankaj Thakur, Deepak Chauhan, and Abhishek Thakur, captivating the audience with their melodious songs. Hundreds of spectators danced to the artists’ performances until late at night. In his address, chief guest Man Singh Singhta stated that such traditional events play a vital role in uniting society and preserving the state’s rich folk culture.
